As I get older, I’ve come to really appreciate “culture” as a larger driving force than we tend to acknowledge. You can grab attention fast with a stunt, but lasting viewership takes time, many decades, for the underlying culture to mature. It has little to do with broadcast length, equipment, or announcers. Those things help add iterative improvement to what exists, but for mountain biking to become truly mainstream, the only real solution is time. Great to hear! The new back end is actually being tested this week by new team riders in a secret location...This picture was taken last week at the Belgian Cycling Factory, this is Dale McMullen (Nukeproof Lead Engineer) and Steve Jamison (Nukeproof Product Manager) discussing the new back end with a new rider (you can just see his foot)!

The parts and accessories are getting an overhaul, we'll have some new stuff to show next year, probably less options than before as it was a pretty big range. What do you guys want to see Nukeproof make? Pedals, bars etc are a no brainer and the wheels are well regarded but we're open to suggestion...VitalMTB poll incoming...

The twins splitting is something I've actually heard before. Surprising but if the offers are there, then why not eh? On another note, here are some photos of a few of the "park" features on the Korea track. Frank Pardal says he'll be doing a track preview Wednesday!

Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

Shout out big privilege, he's a good dude. Always up at mountain creek, just a normal dude that likes riding bikes (with a rap career). I love that it he brings representation for a minority in our sport.

I can with 100% certainty say you're incorrect. "We're all better for it." is immeasurably short-sighted. I only typed that thing up because I didn't want the poster to feel like I was making a judgement on him (or anyone else). It costs me nothing to make sure the people who haven't earned any sort of negativity from me don't perceive any negativity from me towards them. For many of us life is hard. We're all humans and we all feel things differently based on what our hour/day/week/month/year has been like. I don't need to contribute negativity into anyone's life...

Thank you for posting this. Too many people are using a racing rumors thread to talk crap on Kerr. It's also pretty sexist and BS that people are talking crap on Jenna when she works incredibly hard at her craft and has the speed. Can we move on from this please?

Jenna won as many races as Jake Jewett last year. ...and she won the Women's Elite New Zealand Continental Series race this last weekend beating Sascha Earnest who by many accounts is a podium threat for this upcoming women's World Cup season. It's fun to pretend she's only around because her and BK are together, but I think a tough couple seasons for injuries made us forget that she's actually pretty fast and was a Junior World Champ.

Who says this was all their decision? Joe Breeden started the new Factiry Team and got that worked out. Without him, I am sure they wouldn’t have had a new IFR. For the MS team, they were a frame supplier. Aside from EF’s surprise win, I would say it was a pretty lackluster year for that team (though Tuhoto represented well in outside events). Perhaps MS was asking for more this year than they could give or, perhaps, MS wanted to go a different direction. Point is, Intense may not have been the one to make that call. The whole...
