It looks like the top part might be removeable to for wet and dry races to keep heat in the pads for cold/wet races

The single standard I'd sentence to death as king of the world: headset cable routing. We get to the point where modern suspension is so good that headsets essentially last the life of a frame, so the dirt-roadie fraction at Scott decides to run all cables on all MTB models through a dirt-funnel into the headset because Nino will save 1 watt on aero gains on his XC bike. The sheer structural stupidity of it makes me scream even before the home mechanic starts cursing at the extra work of dragging cockpit disassembly/re-alignment into simple hose & housing installs/replacement. I'm pretty sure the workshop BK opened was in Wales where he now lives judging off his latest LSD. He said he flew back to get the keys for it.

Thanks for sharing your insightful opinions on the nationhood of Wales and Scotland, however I feel they're wasted on the Team Rumors forum. Have you considered a speaking tour of Wales and Scotland? That way you could re-educate the locals and correct their misunderstandings. I'm sure you'd receive a warm welcome.

I think the biggest difference will be the machined aluminum lugs rather than the 3D printed titanium lugs. Both in terms of material costs and manufacturing times.

The headtube area is machined rather the 3D printed. The black part on the top is just a cover to stop there being a big open hole behind the steerer tube. You could put something in there but when I saw it earlier this year it would just roll down the downtube and fall out the bottom.
