3/25/2024 5:11am CW should just be grateful they get to do something they like. It's not the riders fault CW can't get enough sponsors because they are'nt good enough at their jobs. They could oraganise parties as a side gig for extra cash and if they can't do that they should do something else and give the chance to other up and coming events who will do it for less money. It is just supply and demand. If the market does'nt think CW is worth the money then they deserve to fail. If they don't like the paying the riders they can...

3/23/2024 8:26am Dude, I think you are projecting one event with one person onto an entire group. We all know how that goes. I’ve been lucky enough to meet many many pro riders in my life and all of them have been nothing but incredibly nice. I’m sorry one rider may have laughed at you, but that certainly doesn’t mean they are...

3/23/2024 8:20am Again, I love how everyone is quick to blame the riders. We don’t have any of the info. It is just as likely Crankworx promised them certain conditions for the event this year and then once the riders were there, did not follow through assuming they would just ride. Why is the burden on the riders and not on Crankworx...

3/23/2024 6:42am This is a terrible take. Both the riders AND Crankworx have acknowledged that talks have been going on for months with no progress. Sometimes you have to utilize the only leverage you have, in this case not showing up to the start line. This clearly wasn’t a hasty decision. Crankworx could have solved this more easily than the riders, why...

3/23/2024 6:30am Weather they get what they want or not is not something that I will loose sleep over, but good on them for sticking together to prove a point.

Buckets Up Added a reply to Do pros remove their hardware post surgery? (Also, did you?)
2/1/2024 11:35am Fear of infection (my father had collarbone surgery a year before me and it also got infected) led me to decide against getting surgery/hardware. I had a single fracture, but the lateral half of the bone slid medially such that the two halves of the collarbone overlap by 1.5". Since they were in contact, the doctor said they should knit/mend...

1/17/2024 3:36pm Even more, most, if not all those injuries were at the Da Hui Backdoor Shootout, which is different than Vans Pipeline Masters, which is different than the Pipeline stop of the WSL tour, but all of which happen at the wave Pipeline/Backdoor in late Dec-Jan

1/9/2024 9:58am You could add Surly and Fairdale (dirt jumper available and AMHT coming) as well. There are also (dare I say) dozens more 'custom' or small batch individual frame builders who will make you an awesome mountain bike. A few that spring to mind: 1. BTR 2. Mone 3. WZRD
Buckets Up Added a reply to Dirt jumper fork pressure
12/20/2023 3:15pm For dirt jumping, and dirt jumping only, put the maximum allowable air pressure with slow (screwed in) rebound. If you can get away without maxing out your compression, that is okay.

11/10/2023 4:25am With equity! Neko migh made $500k of revenue in 2 days selling his dh frame. If he sells his Enduro frame next year, he might make $5M, the sky is the limit for the most business savy US racer.. Dak is hot property at the moment but I reckon he might be more interested in finding the right equipment and structure to satisfy his performance ambition than a fat paycheck (which in my eyes makes him even more an hero of the sport).. I don't have any intel, I'm just shooting ideas... Gwin is maybe not as much the 1miilion...

11/7/2023 6:58am Nah dude. It just isn't funny. Neither the original post or your response. Saying as much isn't being "woke", and the need to bring up being anti-"woke" every time the majority of reasonable people deem something inane is the most unintentionally ironic "snowflake" behavior. I know you don't want to be a snowflake. Back to rumors please. Kade to join...

10/31/2023 1:59pm Growing up in Utah I ran into BMX pros Mike Aitken and Tim "Fuzz" Hall at the proving grounds indoor skatepark in Pleasant Grove quite often. Both of them super nice and down to earth, always had time to talk to us kids at the skatepark. Now live in NC. Shot the shit with Max Beaupre at sugar mountain for a while waiting for the lift to open. Super funny kid and hope he succeeds racing enduro on the world stage.

10/28/2023 1:13pm Glad it said MOPED in the title so I don't have to watch. How about posting the new Chris Akrigg video where he actually gets off his e-bike and goes back to what has made him amazing...the willingness to power over things on a bicycle.
