I don't even see Rampage as the best avenue for his riding/marketing. Real Street was actually quite good for him. Like obviously whatever placing he got on real street wasn't what he got at Rampage. And he missed some of his cues on Rampage which wouldn't have even scored much higher but I really really wanted to see a proper flair at Rampage, and not just a flatspin hip or whatever. i prob tell this story every year, but i went out there in '01 to film and left after the first practice day b/c i thought for sure someone would die. it was terrifying. von williams rolling up to the main drop of the day and slapping into a trials hop off the clif was the sickest. and lance canfield. he was right at home.

Your assessment couldn't be further from the truth. I live in 87 year old home in an old neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. Most of my shopping uses no bags and no receipts. I drive a small hatchback from 2007 because the gas mileage is good, it's a smaller car so it's safer for those around me, driving it and keeping it in good repair prevents more stuff from sitting in a landfill, and I can fit my bike in by taking off my front wheel. i have 2 source confirmation that Lake Placid/Wilmington will host a DH/XC double in 2025 on a newly built DH racetrack at Whiteface. i can’t say any more as far as sources etc but it’s absolutely happening.
