Sun peaks is my favourite. We usually camp there for a week or two in our van every summer. Lots of restaurants/lounges. Good golf course, there's an indoor/outdoor pool, a few bike shops, and live bands sometimes. Less of a party atmosphere than whistler, very chill, usually no lift lines, and still great riding. Not as beat up as whistler later in the season. The larger jump lines aren't quite as good (or as large), but the blue trails like "stella blue" are excellent, as are the tech blacks.

Olá! Whistler is amazing - there's nothing else quite like it. Some other places worth visiting: Squamish is a great town and has some of the world's best riding, with lots of professional mountain bikers living and riding there. If you want to maximize your experience, contact Dialed In Cycling . They are a local mountain bike guiding and coaching company, and Dan, the owner, is just an excellent guy. So I have been on a multiple month trip through BC since mid August and can touch on all of this and hopefully it can help! Yes and no to both town and trail wise. I live in Brazil and I need some tips about bike parks in BC. Next year I’m going to Whistler with my family, my wife and our daughter! We’ve been there once before and they love Whistler Village! It’s such a great place to walk around, lots of shops, and several easy walking trails in nearby parks… the vibe there feels really similar to our hometown in Brazil. We had the chance to do some battery testing with Specialized’s Turbo Levo 4 to get some stats on range. I did a test where I did same loop in each mode to see how time/battery consumption/power compared, plus a battery draining ride with a range extender. It was more for exercise, but it was cool (and pretty tiring haha) to see how different modes ate battery, and how far you actually can go on a full-size eeb. This is so sick! I think this was a really good bike at the time, and I remember the rear suspension feeling great. It was a heavy tank, but heavy bikes are cool now. I’m also curious where the final geo ended up at. Looks like you’re on the size large, which was REALLY long at the time, so maybe it’s not so bad in modern terms. I remember the bottom bracket was pretty high, so I’m curious how high it ended up at after adding taller wheels.
