lol even worse. i had only meant against the apparent 'false accusation' or whatever. the initial incident. but ya surely theres nothing to threaten there since he clearly did SOMETHING wrong even if it wasnt as bad as many assume. i also feel like nobody in the pits is on his side? like nobody has had the feeling 'hes such a good guy i cant imagine its true so i still talk to him' or something. not that i know anything for sure. its telling nobody is tempted to touch that with a ten foot pole when hes clearly still...

Interesting view for shure. Especially in termes of Giant and Cube. Both teams have the money for topriders. Especially giant has quite a legacy to fulfill. about Vali: the commencal bike is proved as one of the best. her trainer is deeply connected there, she is friend with the riders there. but who knows! Daprela is a topten/ podium rider...

I think it's less dropping Dak, more not giving him as much as either Dak hoped for or making some budget for Ronan and Pinky. I have a world of respect to Dak, especially on his comeback journey, and I think he can contend for the win - but put on Mondraker's hat and think about the 3 elite male riders you have : 1. Ronan - Got a win this year, rides crazy (good views), young, redbull helmet, not consistent. 2. Pinky - Pretty consistent in the final top 10, young, has potential, still transitioning into elite imo 3...

I can't see that happening. Look at how much Richie has struggled, and he's generally stronger/healthier and had better enduro results. Don't get me wrong, I think he absolutely deserves to be on a good team, I just don't think switching to DH will help. The new crop of young DH kids are just too freaking fast.

I don't see Jack Moir going to Pivot. Pivot not making money off the DH racing right now and their Enduro team isnt strong enough to be one of the popular big Dawgs. I don't see pivot taking a financial risk such as adding a big name Enduro rider in a sport that's in a transition period. If Jack was at peak form and contending for an overall this year. Maybe there's an argument at that point. Or maybe I'm an idiot. Let's see how this ages...

Would agree. But enduro is dead. The industry seems to move more towards trail or freeride at the moment. I see his future in contend creating: uci dh, crankworks, ixs dh... stuff like that. He has a real talent there.
