4/15/2025 3:44pm Not to bragg or anything but I'm probably the biggest Melamed fan here - and perhaps in the whole world; but I have to side with the owl on the Sram/Moir Matter. Dont know the first thing about WC money bizness but I find It hard to believe that Sram just supplied MoiMoi with a "couple of forks".

4/15/2025 2:53pm I think the proportional movement leads to comically long RCs on larger sizes but I am glad there is a variety of choices across the industry.

2/27/2025 4:23pm In addition to slop, I have found issues with clutch durability. I know shimano has their own set of clutch issues but at least theirs are rebuildable.

2/19/2025 4:41pm In regards to " just how significant of a headwind the plateauing of performance has become for the broader industry." I have my own anecdotal experience with this in just the last few months. Background: I have been a mountain biking for almost 30 years, I slowly over time worked my way up to having high-end bikes, custom small builder frames, and usually 4-6 bikes at a time. I currently have a custom steel Singlespeed hardtail, a full suspension trail bike, a tricked out Dirt jump bike (evil imperial 😉), a Rigid Fat bike, a gravel grinder/monstercross bike, and enough...

2/7/2025 12:14pm Interesting to see Asa running an air shock. I wonder if he will stick with it all season or he'll just run it on the bike parkier track in Taz.

12/19/2024 12:54pm I know this isn't the conspiracy thread but I have a feeling that many brands are secretly happy with the new World Cup format. The big teams have less competition and the small ones might secretly be excited to be able to say "Oh Shucks, we will have to disband given these new constraints." I am sure that many people...

10/30/2024 1:39pm I have seen that he did something controversial. Apparently he objectified women while shitting on Women's Rampage? I was looking for more context because he seems to have deleted the video and apparently some of his sponsors dropped him.

5/25/2024 7:17pm Yeah, I'm probably influenced from Ft Bill being a boring TV watch regardless of full-run or not. On camera the speed an roughness doesn't com through well and it's hard to see what a rider is doing to go faster or slower. The motorway at the end could be cut and I wouldn't miss it, along with the drone shots from 300 ft in the air and cameras trying to look through the Gondola.

5/22/2024 11:20am I reckon theres been plenty of instances where a rider goes from right at the top to just off that pace with a new/different bike. It really doesn't take much to fall off that absolute maximum pace, it's seriously hard to perform at that level. Think Gwin on specialized. While all bikes are good these days everyone has different preferences and needs to perform at the highest level.

5/22/2024 10:03am Kinda shocked at the number of comments on PB blaming the UCI. If a pro athlete can't stay on top of their wearabouts filing for drug testing they must be hiding something. Like okay they fail twice in a year and then get their crap together, but to fail three times knowing the consequences is crazy.
