BiNARYBiKE Added a comment about news story RESULTS - 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships Downhill Qualifying
8/30/2019 12:47pm My guess is he’s treating this more like timed training than traditional qualifiers. No reason to push it too hard. I hope anyway. I’d love to see him have a shot at the win.

BiNARYBiKE Added a comment about product review RIP 9
2/5/2019 2:50pm Good looking bike, but I'm not sure I could ever buy a bike from a company foolish enough to establish their entire identity on a wheel size standard!

1/29/2019 3:20pm Bloodline is good. I’d also entertain the Trilogy, Trinity, or Trifecta.

BiNARYBiKE Added a reply to 2019 Racing Rumors
1/25/2019 8:21am I think this is an awesome move. I'm super curious to see how it goes with the new/niche manufacturing technique. I can't imagine these will be affordable bikes for the masses (not that they need to be). I mean to a certain point, I'd be willing to pay a premium for custom geometry.

1/14/2019 6:42am Call me Captain Obvious here... Just throwing this out there. Pinkbike just post review of Intense M29, nothing in the photos looked to be anything to spy but I could be wrong. But being the day before UCI teams need to be in, Intense looking to position themselves for a splash. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/review-intense-m29.html

hardboiled Liked a comment about Feature How to Make Everyone Happy with Rampage
10/29/2018 4:08pm I think the current format is pretty good, personally. my thought is a much more subtle change -- just get rid of 1-100 point scores entirely, and rank each rider against everyone else without a point score attached. Brendan would've been in first after his first run down, and the judges wouldn't need to score him artificially low to "leave room" for better scores later on. if the next guy throws down a better run, Brendan (and everyone else below him) would get bumped down a spot. from a spectator perspective, the point differential between the riders doesn't seem to...
