My issue isn't so much with "flow" trails, but the "dumbing down" of existing "non-flow" trails that have been ridden for years. Taking out rocks, roots and other technical features to sanitize the trail drives me nuts. Groomed flow trails definitely have a place, as pinkrobe said, they don't have to be a beginner level trail to be a flow trail. Even beginner level trails are great, for their intended purpose. Bike theifs suck. Theifs in general suck. That said, they're also not usually the sharpest knife in the drawer. Whatever you do, never stop looking. As a sort of related story, one of my buddies had his Pivot Mach 429 Trail stolen off the back of his truck last June. He didn't ever stop doing random searches for it; it popped up on PB at the beginning of December. With some assistance from PB, we tracked the bike down and got it back.

Maybe this has come up already, but how hard is Rachel going to go after every single race this season. What better way to put any brand on the map then win races. Maybe even a World title. I almost feel bad for the hurt she will put on the women's field this year.

1/15/2019 7:50am Only a guessing here. In the news video clip it looks like where they were was on a steep hill. My guess is the E-Bike assist system over heated in the Aussie summer and prolonged climb. Not a short.
