5/17/2020 5:09pm My new Sentinel feels the same regarding the seat tube angle on flat terrain. But once I’m climbing a hill, it’s a dream.

Really enjoyed this. But I present an even more daunting challenge for SRAM to document. A 37 year-old man with two toddlers, a full time job, a wife who works fulltime who attempts to ride 3 times per week during the month of May

4/30/2020 12:50pm You might want to pop an email to info@transitionbikes.com and we could get more of a dialog going about what you want out of the fork that it's not doing and how to achieve it with setup. --Sam

4/30/2020 12:30pm I have been loving the new ION apparel. They make shorts in multiple lengths and the riding pants fit me great at 6'4". They definitely have a little more of the Euro fit which is better for thinner riders. https://www.ion-products.com/bike/men/bikewear/

4/30/2020 12:14pm Any advice for a baseline setup on the Fox 36 Grip 2 Performance Elite on my Patrol? I've had it for two weeks and seem to be struggling more than normal to get it where I want it. I'm at 175 lbs. on the bike.

4/30/2020 12:11pm For Kevin: Do you have favorite riding short and/or pants? I have a heck of a time finding bottoms that work well with my long, skinny legs.

4/30/2020 11:45am Hey guys! Long time customer here, been a Transition junky since the Preston FR. Thanks for all the good times and sorry for all the annoying phone calls over the years. So here's my question: I've owned both the SBG Patrol and Sentinel in carbon. at 6' 3", I feel more comfortable overall on a 29 but I find the...

4/24/2020 11:20am Ya, height wise I feel like a 29er fits me better. But matching body size is only part of the equation, the other part is the trail, and the trail doesn't care how about your body size. This is one thing that I think is often overlooked. While we may change the size of the bike to match the rider, the size of the trail stays the same. So berm radius, jump radius, all that stuff stays the same and then our big long bike or giant wheels effect how we can ride those trails. So while I loved the...

4/24/2020 11:13am The good news is, you can pretty much just pick your length that you prefer. I have very long legs and short torso, so seated reach is actually not very long. when descending, I appreciate a shorter wheelbase and a bike that's a little more lively and playful. I get a long fine with the XL, but it feels longer than necessary.

4/23/2020 9:25pm Great review! I'm 6'3" and have been on both Large and XL sentinel and patrol and agree that the Large is plenty long. I also agree that the Sentinel is an incredible all-rounder. Remarkable how well it descends for how comfortable it is to pedal. One thing I'd mention, and this is maybe more about wheelsize, but I'm much quicker through berms and much more comfortable jumping on the patrol. I'm consistently faster on flow trails with the patrol, even when I have some uphill sprints mixed in.The only downside of the patrol is that it doesn't give me the...

BiNARYBiKE Added a comment about product review Gnarvana
4/14/2020 8:09am Comparisons to the Transition Sentinel? Longer, even more of a monster truck? I love my sentinel on steep, open chunky sections of trial. On jumps and in quick berms corners, I find it to be a bit cumbersome. I imagine the Gnarvana would be even more in that direction?
