Sick. Feels normal and unremarkable in most places, similar to the stock damper, but it really comes alive in the worst, chunkiest terrain. Review coming soon-ish.

Aussie makes his own 2chainz bike This makes me want to buy a High Pivot frame and a lathe.

During testing for the Flux Cap and Noken, I was running an A1 Zeb Charger 2.1 damper and then an MRP Lift Damper tuned for my weight, with regular lower leg services. I've always liked more closed off LSC to create support during big body movements and more open HSC to keep the fork open for small bump/high frequency chatter, so it might just be a personal preference thing. Also worth mentioning that I run very, very fast rebound, so that could also change preferences compared with someone that rides a slower setup.

There aren't many, if any jerry's on the off the menu stuff. Telonics is fairly isolated other the the fire road transfer and cross over. If you know of a shuttle-able trail close to the socal mtb industry, that can push a dh bike and has ocean views to enjoy, then I think those people would be stoked to hear about it. While there are plenty of things that I do/don't love about living in socal... Ripping trails before/after work with ocean views that are world class difficult and looking at the sunrise/sunset, definitely gets filed in the love side...

I want to hear that the Telum is at least 80% performance of the Avy with less than 20% of the drama.

27.5" rider here (yup that still exists 😆). I've been able to experiment 2 variants of the same bike (Commencal DH v4 mullet vs 29") back to back in Vallnord a few years back. I can say that the cornering speed/feel is really the most noticeable trait I've experienced ! I'm far from having a high level in DH but I really liked the feeling with the mullet, it's like inviting you to really lean and charge through every corner. I've not felt a big difference in the chunk to be honest, but it might have to do with the...

wonder if it'd be worth renting a car from jan to march and just living at TOTW parking lot to snag shots of stuff being tested?

Round one of the Coil Shock Shootout: five rear shocks tested on a short section of mostly downhill trail. The shocks have all been tuned for the same bike, and are using the same spring. All shocks have been setup prior to being tested. A Freelap system will record the time for each run, and a subjective measure of perceived speed or "feel" will be noted before looking at the actual time. The Test Rig 2023 Specialized Enduro running an Intend Edge fork, and O-Chain device. I feel the kinematics of the Enduro make it a good test rig with...

Can we stop with the pipe dreaming, people would be more likely to glue their head to the table than properly use industrial adhesives in a frame jig. Most people struggle with IKEA,

How terrible are the tough/grippy 2.6 Terrene Chunks in the front? Buddy just gave me an older 29 rim so I figured $28 for the Chunk would not be too big throwaway money if I don't like the MX setup on teh Br öns ön.

With that said, if I had to choose between a frame bonded by pivot or the average pinkbiker, it would be a tough decision.

Remove chain, dunk it in industrial strength heavy duty degreaser, rinse and repeat until clean. Then dry / apply waxy lube. Just be careful as those purple potions will dissolve your fingers and punch holes in your eyeballs.
