Consider this an official PR. Smile MRP is continuing support for Giant Factory Off-Road Team, Trek Factory Racing, Pivot Factory Racing, Nukeproof SRAM Factory Racing, Atherton Racing, and the Cube Factory Team. As well, we're pleased to welcome Canyon [CLLCTV] FMD and The Union to the roster. There may be others added, but I think I'm Forbidden from saying anything else. Let's go racing!

To my knowledge Disney does not own Discovery. Disney does own NatGeo though. Discovery owns Eurosport so maybe they already have some infrastructure in place to cover cycling, but I would not want to be them stepping in to take over covering the world cups. It's not the same as covering a road race. And Red Bull has put in a ton of work to improve their system over the years. Unless Discovery is poaching all kinds of staff from Red Bull then they are going to step in a big pile of their own hubris for a while as...

I hope everyone that made a complaint about the FREE redbull coverage over the years, wishes they did not. Redbull changed the entire landscape of DH and XC racing. Huge resurgence for both sports, in terms of viewership since Redbull got involved. They built hype, excitement and did it well. It is an incredibly hard sport to cover, logistically and they got better and better. UCI owes redbull a debt of gratitude. Too early to tell what will come of this, perhaps DiscoTV will lead us to a whole new audience? and that can be good. I just don't know...

Just logged in to say this is rad. Neko is rad. He seems quite thoughtful and diplomatic about this. And I hope he kicks ass on this creation that he has poured his heart into. Good for him.

Leatt braces were significantly noticable and limiting. One might argue the sport is too demanding to have those kinds of limitations. The obvious trade off being the risk of neck injury. Also was a bit of an eye sore. I think racers didn't acknowledge it because why would you openly taunt the bike gods stating "I don't need that protection!" When I stopped wearing mine, I shifted to a chest protector and have been so lucky to have it on in the many crashes I had and continue to have. Seems like quite a few of the WC are doing...

I like that the track builders are using a plate compactor to make sure those whoops are basically made of concrete by March.

Just stop. Civil war? Now you are being absolutely stupid. Spend some time and look around. Read your history. Look at the news (not Fox/ Newsmax/ OANN). Real news like the AP. Show me one modern day nation that came out ahead post civil war. I will make it easy for you- there is not one. You throw around "liberal" like it is a bad thing not realizing that most of the freedoms people enjoy are actually "liberal". The Constitution is a "liberal" document (not a single nation in the world had a representative limited democracy). There is not a...

I'd like to understand the subset of people who oppose vaccine mandates but would be pro healthy lifestyle mandates, but I'm afraid my brain is too smooth.

That last thing is coming. Just wait. Health insurance will pick it up. They will only be willing to provide free tests and masks for so long before telling the government 'no'. They do it obesity and other things. The argument about "liberty" is a weak one. The nation was founded on the ideas of liberty. But people frequently forget about the next part, which is license and social contract. You may have the ability to do something but you do not always have the right to do it. If it affects one, it affects all. These are John Locke...

I'll dive into this pile of BS thread head first for 1 post. I get to see people die at work from covid everyday, I haven't seen one vaccinated person die in the last 2 months If you want to control covid in order prevent the most deaths you have 2 options, vax and masking or super strict lockdowns and masking. In the US, the only way to get people to vax at a much higher rate will be for health insurance companies to refuse to pay covid related treatment costs for those that choose not to be vaccinated.

Are you dumb? If you look on your own link to the statistics of Italy you will see that you are having 100-200k daily cases since December and 200-350 daily deaths related to that number of cases. One year ago (Nov.-Dec. 2020) before the vaccination you had 20-35k daily cases and 550-800 daily deaths related to that cases. And this is data from the link you posted... So after vaccination and with less restrictions on day-to-day life today you have 3-5x the cases and less of half daily deaths related to that. I dont know how you can show more...

Let's go Brandon is the dumbest work around I have ever heard. If you want to say something just say it, don't act like some grade 3 kid scared to swear in front of their grand parents. Also, saying you'd shoot some one with a 9mm on the internet over your opinion pretty much sums up that you probably shouldn't own a gun and have a problem.

Can you shitbirds keep your worthless political opinions out of this thread and keep the conversation based around who we can confirm will be competing at the first World Cup? The UCI isn’t the French government so it’s not (yet) a problem of the sport or its governing body. Try to focus and go troll your uneducated (unless you’re an...
