Usually I'd ride after work, but it's too dark, and I've been busy on weekends. I'm not half as grumpy as this, it's gotta be something else lol

If the niche for 32" wheels is people over 6'6" tall, it's hard to make a business case for making them. If the niche for 26" wheels is people under 5'6" tall, that's much easier to justify because not only are there grown adults under 5'6" tall, every adult who is over 5'6", was at some time under 5'6".

The bike industry is its own worst enemy. Nothing wrong with 32" wheels, however it should recognized as a niche offering. Any tire, rim, fork maker, etc should get a contract in place before designing and opening tooling for a 32" project with a frame brand.

It's pretty hard for aerated dampers to start cavitating - once the oil is foamed up it gets more elastic and cushions the oil so you get less pressure drop behind the piston cause cavitation. It might happen in certain shocks if the air collects at the top, between main piston and base valve (and would develop a distinct pop or knock sound) but its pretty rare and would usually foam up enough to be spread around. The Float X2 almost has the opposite problem- the original valving meant they had very little pressure difference across the main piston and...

With a lower CG it's still free to come up and slap the rear triangle. The STFU keeps the chain contained and dampens some of the forces of the chain flapping around.

Discussed here: https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/The-Hub,2/2020-MTB-Tech-rumors-and-inno… Though it does seem like the EU ban is more "rumblings" from those in the industry than anything official. But we've talked about it on this thread before. I'm just repeating what's been said before on the EU front, however I do know there are a couple bike releases dependent on SRAM introducing their new brakes first.

I don't think it's stupid, I have to run my levers really far inboard with a large gap between the clamp and grip, I'd love a shortened lever, but they can't really be beat anyway on power and light lever feel, except for maybe Hayes.
I can't believe I didn't think of this for B Practice. Hot tube podcasts are genius.
