I'm expecting a levo LT to come out with a 230x65(ish) shock, after the x2 comes out, as it apparently shares an air spring with the float and float x genie. And no new kenevo either.

I am very surprised it’s still a 210x55

Please be the same! Specialized have something really interesting going on with the Genie and it's a shame they're only offered in 210x55 with no piggyback, I want one for my bike that currently has an x2 that sounds like it's filled with mac n cheese.

Mixed messaging from other media outlets. Flow saying in their video that it is not, while Fanatik has a response quoting someone directly from Fox saying that it is. Probably too early to hang your hat on any one response as I'm sure their sales&marketing team is getting up to speed with the new product.

MTB spoke drilling holes and innovation 🙃 I'm gonna keep ex471-ing until DT stops production, it is the tried an true, gold standar for a reason. Assymetrical, 4d whatever ads no value. They are even the perfect width for gravity tires. Or are they?

Which is a shame, because overlap is what's best for consumers. I'm a big lad and probably need a 38, but smaller people really don't need the stiffness and extra weight.

With compliance being all the rage atm, that would be very sensible. Offering a long travel fork for lighter riders with reasonable effort looks like a win in my book

So if the 34sl has the speed holes, we can assume the 36 with the speed holes is also an SL? Hopefully this means fox do a beefed up 36 that can go to 180, and even more hopefully, rockshox come out with an update that makes the Lyrik follow suit. It's plenty stiff enough for 170-180 on a normal...

Sometimes Vital contributor Brian Cahal has a really good shootout series on some recently released ebikes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SqLuZlrmGI&t=88s It's nice that they only got "good" ebikes and are able to articulate really well the difference between each of them. Somewhat surprised at how positive they are about the Mondraker, seems the design team did a great job.

Idk about your customers but I once saw a helmetless 70yo guy riding on a fireroad to a cabin on a rotwild emtb with approximately 50% sag.
