1/21/2022 9:28am But you still have memory cells in your immune system and are protected even when you don't have antibodies anymore. So the antibody test is also flawed. Plus it's quite apparent that quite a few people here (mostly Americans for obvious reasons) fail to realise that a lot of the restrictions, logical or not, logical when they were set and not anymore or illogical from the onset, were set to protect the greater public, not the individual. Yeah, great, free choice and everything, but to be a bit facetious, why does this free choice mean any time someone has a...

1/21/2022 9:21am I'll dive into this pile of BS thread head first for 1 post. I get to see people die at work from covid everyday, I haven't seen one vaccinated person die in the last 2 months If you want to control covid in order prevent the most deaths you have 2 options, vax and masking or super strict lockdowns and masking. In the US, the only way to get people to vax at a much higher rate will be for health insurance companies to refuse to pay covid related treatment costs for those that choose not to be vaccinated.

1/19/2022 11:20pm America, land of the free, where it is your right to burden the population as a whole with the consequence of your bonkers views on medical science. If I was a racer I'd be much more worried about the long term effects of getting a respiratory illness than the fact that someone's mum's cousin's friend had a reaction to the...

12/26/2021 3:49pm I think you might be projecting a bit here. You're essentially doing moral panic as an antidote to moral panic.

12/26/2021 2:51pm We had plenty of Marzocchi calendars and other marketing material featuring scantily clad women on the walls of the bike shops where I worked throughout the 90s. I’m not proud of participating in the dehumanizing and objectification of women, and started working in better, more inclusive shops in 2001. The idea that there models are making the decision to appear in this calendar is irrelevant- this is the kind of immature, sexist bullshit that discourages women from the sport, from working in the industry, and frankly from wanting to be around cycling at all. Martha Gill and Amanda Batty are...

12/26/2021 2:33pm Lol what are you on about? What would my ends be in this case? If you don't like being challenged you shouldn't go round telling people what to think on forums and passing it off as common sense

12/26/2021 10:09am Freedom of exchange between people is not the same thing as exchange between free people. Why do those of you on the "good clean fun" tip think that calendars of women are so much more prevalent than those of men?

8/6/2021 7:39am Maybe we should ask Algeria how they see France's relationship with other cultures? Or maybe Cameroon, or Tunisia etc etc... Hardly the multicultural paradise you are painting. If you can't read criticism of a professional athlete using the n word without perceiving it as a wholesale attack on french culture maybe that might be a time for some introspection?

7/25/2021 1:34pm Ah yes, Europe, a land famously free from racism.... I'm sure that all the people drowning in the Mediterranean or the English channel for having the temerity to be brown would agree with you.... Personally I've found much of the reaction to his post very disappointing. It's mostly along the lines of "it's too personally inconvenient for us to think...

7/25/2021 1:27pm It's not a good image to have for Red Bull, World Cup DH, and MTB in general. Whatever you think or he thinks about it, it was wrong to post and it will turn away some from my the scene and the sport. Does that mean he isn't sorry or regretful? No, but its already out there now. Maybe he didn't gully understand via translation (though every language has their derogatory terms, including French) but it still happened. If I thought I had a fake gun but it was real and I shot someone, I still shot someone and they...
