If the seat angle is steepened so that it reduces cockpit length and subsequently requires more reach, what happens when the rider is out of the saddle? The Ideal out of the saddle/descending reach number is then likely compromised for climbing. I'm far more willing to adapt my technique to aid climbing than ride a bike that is too big for me to control on the limit descending. I'm sure that would be the consensus.

This has been stated numerous times now. The Athertons are a perfect opportunity for a company to enter the market. They have development capabilities, offer an established team structure, a well known name, a dominant female rider and a male rider with more accomplishments than most on the circuit who showed signs of strength towards the end of the season. As for a bike, apparently Marin and Polygon are connected. They also use the same suspension layout, so Marin riders using a XSquxxxonetwothreeDH would be perfectly reasonable from a marketing standpoint. Casuals just wouldn´t care. I don´t know what kind...

It is an almighty task of the judges to nail it every time on the spot. Every year they open themselves up for criticism, dispite making efforts to rectify any previous injustice. I do however feel Brendog was the unlucky victim this year, largely to do with format, although the McGazza award for him and his team was some consolation and very justified. Would a fair and reasonable solution be to keep the first run scores hidden, until all riders drop, so as to gauge the overall standard and level of riding, and then pitch everyone accordingly. I was running that combo (aggressor in EXO) and liking it, but switched to a 2.3 minion in the rear and like it better. Don’t notice the rolling much except spinning it up. Thanks to @jeff.brines long chainstay sermons, i was theorizing that one reason might be that at 6’2” and on an XL Process 134 w a 426mm chainstay that i end up cornering with more input on the rear wheel and so am enjoying the extra side knob bite? Thinking I’ll run cushcore in the back next season rather than going to a DD casing.

Easy to Monday morning QB but seems like a mistake for Gwin to switch to a new bike when he was so comfortable on the other bike. Especially when his focus changed to one race after the injury
