Course crew has been putting in work, watering berms and jumps where snowmaking pipes are available, maybe slapping some berms, and leaf blowing this morning.

Thanks for the props fellas! Reece Wilson just told us that this track is more difficult than any track all year, even Les Gets in the mud because it’s so unpredictable. Rocks coming out all the time, and shadows look like rocks and rocks look like shadows. But the dirt is apparently absolutely mint.

Just heard Finn saying that most people are on the same line for the lower part of the woods and the bike park sections. The first section where I am just below the start gate is cutting up the most and has the most puzzling about lines.

You can tell when Asa, Tyler, or Oli are coming because every single line spotter pulls out their phone. During this B practice, Asa has been by 4 times and was on a different line every time.

Round 9 of the 2025 UCI DH World Cup is here, and the whole circus has finally made it across their respective applicable oceans for the two North American stops that conclude the season. We're at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, with a brand new course that has seen the light under somewhat worrisome circumstances (apparently the dog ate the homework of the people responsible for securing the necessary permits), but that has us excited as it seems to offer a lot of line choice and a great mix of tech and speed.
