i mentioned in the loudenvielle thread, but no lawlor raw or pit bits vids fromt Loudenvielle, Lenzerheide, Andorra or Les Gets. we have 6 US national rounds this year that we decided to put budget into instead. our heart is with domestic racing and helping it grow. with 11 WC rounds (including world champs), we had to make budget choices and this year we had to pay 3k euro to WBD so lawlor could film (this was after our budget/race decisions were made, however). they've always let us in, but that finally ended this year. i don't blame them, it's...

So stoked to see a proper enduro race and good coverage of it! Warning, mini essay on the state of Enduro ahead! I know the that downhill is more spectacular, and it’s certainly easier to cover, but there is something about proper enduro that really draws me in. I’ve been in Finale this past week on vacation, and it’s rained everyday. Not a ton, but enough to make some trails slippery, while others were tacky and perfect. The weather has changed every day (currently it’s sprinkling and cloudy), but it looks like it will warm up over the weekend and be drier. It doesn’t take too much sun to dry up a lot of trails, but there always seems to be some slick turns and puddles when you least expect it. or maybe he just likes the low-key vibes of working with neko and has a good support system where he is. playing the long game of success, comfort, familiarity and fun vs short game of some cash but with a team that may not culturally gel or a bike that doesn't work for him right away.

I'm happy to report Asa is being well compensated, at a level equal to his talent and future. Despite choices aplenty, Asa decided to stay with a team capable of fully taking care of him, but also one whose business dealings have been genuine and transparent. Asa's a bright kid, but to assume he was not properly represented and took advise, especially as one of the most branded athletes in the sport is a bit dramatic.
