I do have an actual team rumor for a change: Mona Mitterwallner who reportedly signed to a women's road raceteam has stated in an interview in an austrian bike mag that she will not only keep racing xc wc (that has been revealed already) but actually is going to race for a dedicated mtb team as well. I find this really interesting as I can't remember that any biking athlete rode for 2 teams at the same time competitively. Phil losing sponsorship almost annoys me the most out of all of this. All the guy has to do is post a phone clip on a dodgy pleney loamer and I'm convinced to buy the bike. Brands will regret giving up large engagment numbers on social media just to save a few quid in the short term.

Phil Atwill and the Propain Positive team appear to have parted ways with Propain. Instagram is now labeled "Positive Crew". They're either up for grabs or stepping back from UCI level racing. Hopefully somebody gives them the steam for more World Cup racing, Phil has some of the most unique bike handling skills around.

We have entered the part of silly season where people float (and debate!) wild speculation that a 42 year old Dan Atherton returns to downhill (last result was 57th at Crankworx in 2018) on a new rubber band bike to chase a $100k podium.
