I hope they won't be the only ones allowed to do "behind the race" coverage. I just find their presenters insufferable to watch and they lean into the clickbait way too much for my tastes. I very much enjoyed most of the videos with Ric McLaughlin, can't say so about anything on the GMBN channel.

Truth be told: If people like Sam Pilgrim (social media clowns) would just vanish off the internet overnight, I wouldn't miss them. Not even a little. Kinda unfortunate that a guy this talented frequently resorts to putting out clickbait bullcrap.

Knowing Scott that display could just be to complicate something more. You can now lock out your shock and fork via touch screen on the top tube! But it doesn’t work in the wet and you can’t charge your fork and shock while they are on the bike.

Shitting on yeti for their pricing is one of the increasingly rare things the overwhelming majority of guys can all agree on. Let us enjoy it lol.

tried listening to the podcast on the other site where they had thurston on, had to switch off after 20 minutes because that guy is such an insufferable and unlikeable piece of shit too bad about CT, while I’m not really following road racing I liked to read it for the tech nerdery and widening my bike horizon a bit.

ngl had to unfollow him and Aston because of the whole „this and only this is the best and everything else is garbage“ Can the bike industry do better? Sure, but I don’t want to be bombarded all the time by how shit everything is, I’ve got the normal news for that. also, Genius is up on binkpike. As expected...

Yes. And make the thread show up in Large Font. And so that eeeebers don't have to lift a finger to type, create a bunch of boxes to check replies about eeeeebs such as: O "You shuttled one time so don't you dare tell me I can't ride my eeeeb where it is illegal." O "I'm so so sorry you can't afford an eeeeb like this on my instagram page. O "Earn your turns is stupid, look at my KOM" O "eeeeebs are the future, you cavemen are dwelling on Redwood Forest Singletrack" O "It's not a motorcycle, it's a...

The derailleur stays stationery once the axle is tightened, as detailed in this Wheelbased entry: https://wheelbased.com/2021/04/08/rear-gearshift-mechanism-for-coaxial-…

Bit of bike setup talk in here: https://youtu.be/WwW8tQqTsRs It isn't my best work but I will get the hang of it for this format. Shakedown day could be a chance for me to get some of the extra content that you guys would like. The interviews on race day would be sweet but I don't want to impose on the guys if they aren't comfortable having that kind of stuff published. I feel like them talking to me is a bit more personal than talking to the media guys. And honestly, Jack gets some really good footage of that stuff...

I didn't say it's not more aerodynamic. What I insued is that going for or defending the existence of through headset routing because of aerodynamics is, not sorry to say this, idiotic on a mountain bike. As in the gains are SOOOO marginal compared to easy fixes on so many other areas it makes ZERO sense to do it purely for aero gains. And the team mechanics will love them too. So there is no practical reason to go for internal routing, just vanity. On a mountain bike. Also, when it comes to road bikes and aero... Yeah, it matters...

Very preliminary opinion from someone on the Meta 29 with 495 reach and 435 chainstays after a few rides: It’s stupidly easy to pick up the rear wheel and throw it around tight corners. Not the „you have to lean into it“ kind of corner but the euro almost switchback corner. Had the previous meta before that with 460/432 and...
