Sounds like he just recently found out. Kind of a dick move from Leo if so.
Sounds like he got the shaft.
Any rider who isn’t proactively shopping around for other offers before the end of their contract is shafting themselves.
I don’t know anything about Joe Nation’s situation but it sounds like a lot of riders really sit around expecting a contract renewal to land in their lap at the 11th hour.
Privilege is a very regular thing through out mountain biking.
I hope this is an opportunity for joe. Having owned a pole they are fast in a straight line or an open corner but joe might now get a chance to really prove himself by not navigating a barge down the trails. The man is fast and he is up there in cardio terms. He could be a huge asset to a team.

It looks like Sam Pilgrim will be off to Specialized. The thumbnail from his announcement video 'premier' on YouTube has a bike that looks very similar to the Status.
All the other circumstantial stuff like no longer with conti freeing up spesh tyres, visiting San Fran a few months ago, hints from his last video about it being a big brand, do ebikes, and slope bikes etc all seems to point to specialized.

The Stem is the G5 Stem from canyon....... the Downtube shape is a spectral, the Chainstay protector is a canyon
the top tube paint line is canyon. the chainstay rear pivot location is a spectral, the headtube is the canyon spectral.
