Youre attacking one of the nicest and most earnest industry commentators on the forum, and complaining when they defend themselves? Cascade are a true treat to have on this forum and provide lots of insights for all of us. If you have an actual issue with a product take it up privately with them, not by passive aggressively snarking on their products. Rumour related, Ride-9 rockymountain was largely useless, most of the adjustments were so damn similar, I would argue you need 4 adjustments at most, long/short CS, and low/high bb/HA adjustment, maybe a progression adjustment too (ignoring that CS...

It was already covered that this isn't a new concept, Specialized sold it as well, what is new is making for UDH so all bikes can use it. Down get so upset

MTB forums/comments: Reviewers are industry schills, they never write anything bad about any products. Everyone knows that sucks/is unrideable/will fail and won't get warranty support. Also MTB forums/comments: This reviewer wrote something critical about a product I happen to like, they must be biased against that company. Total hatchet job man!

Any cool guys out there ridden the 2024 Norco Fluid VLT with the new Bosch SX motor that was released early in the summer? Looks like it’ll be an awesome mid-weight contender going up against the Relay and the EXe.

Nope, that’s the prototype TRP rotor they are testing. It indeed looks a lot like the Galfer!

Thanks for the compliments but we all know you're not just 'some guy', and I'm just a bike nerd like the rest. What you are saying makes sense. All I really have is a lot of ride time on the new Transmission, as well as the older AXS on some of my other bikes. All I said was the electronics help when the derailleur will shift. It doesn't 'sense' this, it just has a map of all the of ramps in the cassette. So it knows the gear you are in, which way you have shifted, and roughly how long...

Hey Jesse, I know you're a trained engineer and you're probably smarter than me and work for SRAM and I'm just some guy, but I've read that the SRAM Transmission does not use electronics to sense the shift gates in the cassette in order to sync the derailleur movements to match in time. Instead, the shift movement of the derailleur cage is instantaneous when you hit the button, and the delay you observe is from the chain waiting for a shift gate in the cassette to travel through the gate and change gears. The pronounced shift gates in the cassette...

Adding a significant amount of power is always going to cost money. It’s not the same as buying some cranks just to make your bike look cool. If someone has the desire for more power and they have Shimano or TRP 4 pots or Codes there are two options; replace the entire brake set or replace just the caliper. Coincidentally that’s a similar cost. I think in this scenario we are more looking at cost to solve a problem and not how many parts you get for that cost because, again, it’s not just adding bling. If you like how...
