I’m gonna disagree. First off. No one is watching WC downhill that isn’t a huge fan of Mtbs already. Making the broadcast 30-60 minutes isn’t gonna change that. It’s hard to even find the broadcast if you are looking for it. No one is stumbling across it. So let’s not pretend making it shorter will bring in more fans. If you want it to be shorter watch it for time delay and fast forward. Second, you guys kinda mentioned it on the last podcast, but there should be less emphasis on qualies, not more. Hey look what I found in the parts bin: This was one of the last things I worked on at RS before I left... goal was to control big hits by weakening or slowing down the return of the air spring. I run my setup with a lot of spring and no damping, so getting bucked on big hits is part of the deal. This thing 'gulps' all the air in the positive chamber on compression and lets it out with a tiny delay (since it all has to go through the tiny hole to get out). No delay on...

I’m sorry, but Daprela doesn’t ‘deserve’ anything. Racing at a World Cup level is a privilege not a right. It’s beyond just being fast, you also need to have certain aspects of professionalism and be enjoyable to be around. Regardless of what actually happened in the ‘incident’, his continued behavior in the aftermath is uncouth and any team should be hesitant for that alone.

I think you have over thought it and the bk sport thing. I'm pretty sure it was just a merch opportunity off the back of his YouTube channel success and popularity. From the conversations going on in other threads on this site and others it seems like that may be on the decline so I doubt he could count on that. I know for one I wouldn't walk about with a t-shirt with his name on it.

Brook since his horrible crash and a decline in his results has always come across in interviews and what not a little salty about his sponsor situations and all the bouncing around he's had to do but doesn't want to pop off about it... I think when your job is no longer guaranteed and you are essentially just risking your life for not much gain they start to get a bit bitter with the sport and culture of it all.

Who’s broken one already? That point would be valid if axs mechs didn’t have such a high breakage rate too. A faster and tuneable shifting speed is a great USP. Especially as their HG+ chain and cassette design can cope with it. Whereas Srams just cannot, hence why they've made Transmission so slow. Why is fast precise shifting a bad thing all of a sudden? How new can a derailiuer be anyway!!

They're just copying srams retarded decision to tuck the hoses up against the bars as though we're all roadies that are going to integrate them into our bars and headsets. I thought we'd effectively communicated to manufacturers that we didn't want that shit but Shimano is late to the party and has misread their customers once again. So now we get more cable rub and noise from both the major brands, unless you're a weirdo who buys Scott I guess. Gives everyone else a little more motivation to explore other options.
