The UCI MTB World Championship locations have actually been announced all the way out to 2031.
2027: Haute-Savoie, France, with DH and XCO/XCC at Les Gets 2028: Leogang, Austria 2029: Czechia, with XCO/XCC at Nové Město and DH/Enduro at Dolní Morava 2030: Durango, Colorado, USA 2031: Trentino, Italy
Dolní Morava is an interesting one for 2029. They’re building a new gondola and World Championship-standard DH track, with the aim of having it completed by the end of 2027 and tested at a major international race in 2028.

Enduro only had it's first UCI World Champs in 2024, so it's not really had a chance or does it need to become a part of the normal MTB Worlds ( DH and XC).
Last year MTB worlds was organized by Valais in Switzerland, so Enduro Worlds were in Aletsch region, this year Enduro Worlds are in Finale. I had heard that 2029 worlds in Czechia would also be hosting Enduro near by, not sure if that is true though. So long story short who knows what the future holds for Enduro World Champs, but for now it's not a part of the current "classic" MTB Worlds week and works more as a stand alone thing.

I heard MS are slimming the team down from the current 10 riders or whatever haha, and Atherton are signing an elite women and removing one elite male. Could all be BS though.
I also heard Luca Shaw to Norco, Troy on the hunt for good final pay check and Ostgaard maybe sampling some tapas.

Luca to Norco would be kinda surprising, I thought one of the reasons he left the Syndicate was Minnar and not jiving with his mentoring. Seems like he's on a real good thing with his current mentor/coach, maybe the money just isn't there and a not racing not competitive Minnar is probably a way different mentor experience.
I wonder if Trek makes big cuts will that result in cutting riders? Will Osin have to move teams again?

Just a reminder that USACycling was formed in the fall of 1995 by merging the mtb governing body (that literally invented the rules of the sport, NORBA) with the amateur road governing body(USCF) and the pro road governing body(USpro), along with the National Collegiate Cycling Association(NCCA) and a MOU from bmx’s National Bicycle League(NBL).
Originally USACycling was managed by NORBA’s executive director, Phillip Millburn, because mtb racing was far larger than road racing in membership, sponsorship and participation numbers.
USPro was integrated into USAC because ’96 also saw the first time professional road racers were allowed to compete in the games, and the UCI mandated one governing body per nation for all cycling disciplines.
By 1997 the USPro contingent on the USAC board had seized executive control and began the gradual process of eliminating the people, programs and policies that had built American MTB racing into a viable business with dozens of well paid athletes and a vibrant grassroots to world-class pipeline of events. Those same functionaries also worked with complacent partners in the media to sweep through changes in voting for policies by membership at large that permanently took power away from every day bike racers and clubs and put it in tightly controlled hands.
By 1998 USAcycling was near bankruptcy because of the self-inflicted injuries they caused to NORBA- and by the end of that year the primary named conspirator of the largest sporting fraud case ever prosecuted by the US department of justice had seized control of USACycling
