Remi's line, 5:32, is sick as hell. Not sure if its faster but that was cool as hell.
Also, I know poles vs tape has been beaten to death but I found this needlessly confusing
Track continues on the rider's right.
Bernard Kerrs vid had a bit with Amaury who looked like he took some sort of crash in the woods that was painful, hope hes okay.

Trying to figure out what works and what might work better...
Qualifying start lists are now up and are posted at: https://live.ucimtbworldseries.com/
Does this mean Asa's chosen number is 27?
It baffles me that the poles aren't colour coded. Stay left of colour A, right of colour B and (optional) colour C denotes a track split for an alternative line. What am I missing?
Doing so would greatly assist the viewers, too.
Shit, Troy had a massive crash. 😮
He seems to be fairly OK as reported here: https://www.mtb-news.de/news/downhill-world-cup-2026-leogang-troy-brosn…

The rules say that as soon as you become an elite World Cup winner you can pick a career number. I don't know if he's actually picked one by now. He was running #27 in South Korea before going on to win that race, so maybe he's decided it's a good number to stick with (he had the #1 plate in Loudenvielle, which doesn't help confirm if he has indeed picked #27).

I'm guessing Greg Minnaar is happy to see Danny Hart qualify for finals. I know I am!
Is there anywhere to watch Finn's Q2 run? He put 3.5 seconds into everyone from either qualifying session.
Based on the Q2 times being faster and more tightly packed I'm guessing the track conditions improved significantly from Q1 to Q2, but that's still quite a heater of a run by Iles.
[Edited to remove the Hastings sisters... dantecusolito pointed out that Kate was knocked out due to a re-run. Sorry for the ...er... hasty post on this one.]
Two of each in the finals: Alran, Mallen, Logar, and Pierron.
Am I missing anyone? (Two Kerrs as well, but I'm sticking to siblings.)
Kate Hastings just got knocked out by Mille Johnset on a rerun. I assume Mille got redflagged earlier
Reports from Leogang suggest that the weather did NOT improve. It's still possible that deeper ruts and mud being washed away provided better footing, but even if so, it can not have been by a lot. It was still dire out there by all accounts.
Whhhhoooops! I thought they were done!
Thanks so much for catching that!
Vali's quali POV
Andy Kolb: P4 in Q1
So, is Ric just trying to be a jerk? Relishing in the fact that he’s not there? Not sure I get the joke bud, we’re all kind of pissed that the commentary sucks.

That was crazy!!! So many mistakes and still in P4, there is no way to have a run without mistakes in those conditions.
Funny how quickly his tires got clean on the motorway. And holding that 2:37 was insane too.
Ric probably thinks its just as stupid as we do.
Regardless, bring back Warner.
I look forward to WBD shutting this down (or trying to).
Asa.
It feels good to see a pro say "oh sh*t" multiple times in a run 😂 For how many little mistakes Andi had up top, it was shocking how on line he remained in the bottom woods.
Looks like they realized the poles were not enough of a visual indicator in at least one section.
Some of them are turning completely brown. Even that toughblock at the top of the stumps, you can't even see any green.
