I think it's a bit of a personal he puts on, he was up for a snowboard race we had last winter and he was super cool but not the larger than life kinda character he appears as in his videos and stuff. He was more than happy to hang out and chat bikes and boards and whatever with whoever wanted to, he will have no problem picking up some for if sponsorship

Brown Sugar is Tuhoto, blue bus obviously Pivot. Laid back style would match that team and the Crankworx participation of PFR matches up with Tuhoto’s experience and success on that tour. Not sure anyone mentioned that before on this thread?
My guesses based on the NPC post :
- First one is obvious given all we've been discussing -> OO to Trek
- Second : Bald Eagle might be Dak, coffee... not sure but Jesse popped up in my head when I thought about a coffee lover - but Scott doesn't have an official Enduro team (?) (that said canyon didn't last year)
- IFR going Nukeproof (the Wolverine meme) would mean some riders might be on their way too, so my guess for the Moana meme -> Lou to MS
- Mondraker (Vador) chasing a kiwi -> Oli Clarke
- French team hugged by an US rider + Austrian -> Vali + Maples to Commençal les Orres
- No clue about the Spongebob one. Was a squid told some info about the exit or retiring of a British rider ?

I've seen Hatton, Greenland, Breeden and Tahnee Seagrave in person today at Peaty's bike bonanza. Other than selling off some kit from last season it looks to me like Laurie and Charlie are staying put, as they were out there repping their respective teams.
Lou and the team announced she signed with intense for the future mid season this year. She’s not going anywhere.

Not really a weird choice to bring either along. If they're the easiest/cheapest to pay for travel, then why not? The end of the race season doesn't mean the end of contractual obligations. Gotta rep who pays you till the end date on the contract like a professional.
It's definitely a bit weird to see riders who've moved onto new teams in media for their old team, but if the media is made under contract, why not get the most out of the employee/asset

There was an interview with Kolb in German about his new contract with the syndicate and to me it was almost as if he was dancing on raw eggs to not say the name Greenland when talking about his new team mates and how he is looking forward to ride with them. I took this as a sign that Greenland will not ride for SC in 2026.

I assume if Greenland is moving on from syndicate it’s to a smaller team that can offer more for what he offers. Media interest, wc winner, experience, fans, high potential for some solid results in right circumstances and small potential for a career rebound. But who knows maybe NorCo is lining up someone for post Danny.
Personally i find it hard to believe syndicate had no interest in bringing back Laurie. But the same way a new opportunity is usually better than languishing in the old one when it comes to regular jobs. The same is true for racers. He has high value still but does syndicate need what he offers at this point in time?
