Best of many worlds

Really Nice! Which seals did you use and where did you get them to make the brakes work?

Hips- G-form Elite liner shorts. Has a pretty good chamois. Elbow- Gform Knee- Ion K pact select, most well secured knee guard I've come across, but it's more DH than trail 7Idp Sam Hill knee guard for trail.

Leatt Roost Tee, cheap, nice shoulder and chest protection, good ventilation can't remove any pads but it's pretty much a t-shirt. Leatt Airflex stealth - has a zipper, can remove pads , good ventilation and much higher level protection.

Cheating. This is a sentiment that continues to come up. Why does everybody care or feel like it is cheating? Are they cheating you and your strava times? Do you feel like the e-bike rider is cheating themselves? Or is your ego hurt when you get passed ... more »

Building trails specific for e-bikes is a terrible idea. There aren't enough biking trails already. If they start getting built for e-bikes only, imagine how butt hurt everyone will be. Look how butt hurt everyone is already.

Just wait til I hot wire the thing and throw skids all over your trails. It might only have a 5 mile range, but that 40 mph top speed is gonna be sweeet!

The body tee airflex stealth is a new piece from Leatt that I went with for riding in the park. All pads are removable except the chest piece. Very well ventilated. Integrates with a neck brace as well.

Also the Leatt 3df 5.0 Shorts. Pads that ... more »

I'm early 30s and am coming off back to back major injuries on the bike. I know I'm not going to be in mid-season form when I return but I have the mentality that there is a "trail speed" you have to ride at to hit lines and features safely. Anything ... more »

I've had this groupo for about 8 months (you could get it from Europe before the delayed USA release). While I agree with everything in this review, I feel like there's a piece of info left out. The bite point on my enduro 4 piston XTR brakes changes on long descents (or when...more

So by your comparison of XTR to GX, you might as well take the next step and say I can't see how XX1 is any better than GX.

I'm quite tired of the finicky b-tension of eagle. I feel like it constantly needs to be adjusted and doesn't hold an adjustment for very long. XTR is going on a bike this week and eagle is on another. It will be good to compare but if I get less frequent drivetrain issues, I'd give 5 stars.

And it's honestly nice to see something on Vital that doesn't get 4 stars. Everything gets 4 stars.

Does everything have to come down to grams? Coil shocks arguably provide better performance than air shocks and it comes with a weight penalty

Should Shimano only be selling 11 speed because Sram came to the market first with 12 speed and nothing would be considered innovative? Do you want 60t and the derailleur dragging on the ground? Or were you expecting the Shimano Samuri 14 speed?

Many reviews have been done on the new XTR 12 and the general consensus is that it shifts better than Eagle, particularity under load. Also, there is less of a jump between low gears on the Shimano 12.
