4/15/2019 11:00am After zooming in, the shock mount looks to be the same as the alloy 29 with the open triangle design whereas the carbon 27.5 sitting behind it is solid.

Gee is using less rebound and it rebounds faster giving him a lively setup. Bruni said he uses more rebound which means slower.

Bruni said he runs more rebound, so, it would be slower. Bruni's bike always looks like it's glued to the ground. gee's bike looks like it was skipping around all over the place.

More rebound means slower rebound. For example on a Fox fork, there is a plus and minus. When you turn toward the plus, you are turning clockwise, closing off the circuit, making rebound slower. Same thing with compression, when you have more of it, it doesn't make it compress more, it makes it harder to compress.

2/15/2019 7:27am I've noticed as reach becomes longer, it becomes harder to compresss the rear suspension because you're weight is being pulled away from the pivot point.

Very nice. I'm looking at doing a very similar build. How much did it weigh in at? Do you know how much the 150mm fork raised the bottom bracket?
