Here's the official announcement, Kasper Woolley moves from enduro to DH, staying with the YT Mob: https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/yt-mob-announce-kasper-woolley-moves-edr-dh-team.
As he should, he had some really good races last year! Great to see after all he went through
Don’t think he’s that bad, buttttttt, I wouldn’t be the most comfortable around a man in his thirties dating a just turned 20 year old
hold up... what happened?!?
European Cup 2025
are you comfortable when a 30 year old dates a man in his 40s?
I could care less. But dating a girl who was 17 when she joined your team shortly after she becomes legal, while she still is a part of the team, is pretty questionable and wouldn’t fly in a lot of businesses. Hell plenty of companies would not let you date an employee as a manager if they were 10 years older than you. The age gap just increases the power imbalance.
Ultimately if they are happy and stay happy good for them. But there are a lot of young women who get used by irresponsible men making false promises who should know better.
Is this televised or broadcast anywhere?
so what happened?

Bernard Kerr, Pivot factory racing team owner and manager is dating Jenna Hastings, female rider on his team, who is more than 10 years younger (iirc he is 33, she is around 20)
If you knew the story of how he ripped apart and absolutely destroyed his previous partners life, you'd never look at the weasel the same again. Absolute scum.
I know a couple Junior riders who spent years on the circuit around B-Kiddy and he seems to be the most hated rider out there and it’s not really close. Obviously I don’t know him personally but judging by the general sentiment towards him and the fact that he’s dating his employee w an age gap that wide, it’s probably safe to say he’s a mega questionable dude.
Dating someone on the team you own and manage is bad enough, but the fact that he first met Jenna when she was an underage junior racer on his team is beyond creepy. They conveniently started dating the first year she was in Elite. It is an overused term nowadays but that is the definition of "grooming".
I knew this was coming with Anna 's season last year. Mixed feelings- really stoked for Anna, sad that one more privateer team is going away. All the best to Anna and Abby next year!
I knew I should’ve patented “B. Kiddy”. Ah well. 😂
And here most of us thought the drama ended with an appearance on that UK debt collection show.
Back to rumors please!!
I mean he irritates me on Youtube so imagine him as your boss.
According to the OTB podcast, Atherton is going to be riding a belt drive bike next season to chase the Gates purse.
Also an unnamed Kiwi junior is joining the team. Does Luke Wayman have another year of juniors? There's been a rumor of him joining for a while.
Has something saucy come to light, or are we just riding him for the underage/yet she wasn't underage thing?
Yes I find it strange!
Not really much of a fan of his, but smashing low level comments isn't really team rumours. Always thought vital to be a little more high brow.
Look what 'rumours' did to Dapprella. (True or not) nothing yet specified.
Fill me in if you know.
The other site was down for a few days. Folks brought their energy here. Sucks when I see a new page added and none of it is actual race rumors.
Lmao I just listened to more of it and Luke was indeed who they were talking about because they were reading off the spreadsheet.
Lmao never thought I'd hear about that again, Can't Pay We'll Take it Away! Season 5 Episode 10 for anyone interested. Back to rumours tho, hearing the Athertons shifting to Gates is one of the more interesting things I've heard recently. Still have a hard time understanding how they function as a business/raceteam given the relatively low volume of products they move at what I would assume to be a low margin. Honestly, I have yet to see one in person or even hear about any Atherton models in BC (Okanagan/Island). Could this be a hail Mary to justify keeping the race team?
Obviously have down votes.
Not condemning either of them. Just the idea of what such a 'slogan' can do.
I come here to read rumours and chat bikes, not to chat personal life.
I shouldn't have said that here, my bad.
No such thing as bad publicity!
I could be wrong, but if done correctly, the co-sponsors can often cover a big chunk of the expenses for the title sponsor. For example they seem like they have a good relationship with continental, and they were the first major time i remember signing on with them when no one really trusted them yet.
Doing the gates thing could be another way to grab some money for the team, if gates or pinion is sponsoring the team.
