Im stoked AG is racing. I'm interested to see what frame, but its not like my life hinges on it.
One interesting thing about this season is that we're seeing a lot of up-and-coming great riders settling into established teams or well developed bikes. Despite the Demo Prototype being the most dramatic project entering into this season, it isn't really "new". We saw how successful it was last year.
Are there any "new" bikes with podium contender riders on them on teams that will actually do the entire season?
def the hair.

Seth Sherlock is on an Intense M1 in this video. Isn't he riding on Gwin's team? If you pause it at 1:57 in, looks like the new M1. Not sure if this has been covered or not, but it would make a lot of sense for them to continue racing that bike. Really dig the way that thing looks as well.
Just because Sherlock is riding the bike he's kept since last year doesn't necessarily mean that is the frame partner going forward into the season, but it's a pretty good indicator. We're still what, 3 months till Ft Bill?
Frameworks falls into that cat.
I'll take the only in "only or over," AG races world champs.
Not sure if this has already been discussed. Gaetan Vige to Propain.

Gwin using transition frames?
I was thinking the same. When you look at the logos from AG Racing an Transition. Could be...

Wasn't he up in Bellingham earlier in the off-season?
If he was up there signing contracts then Transition would make sense. Or are we going to see him developing an Evil DH frame?
I am literally clutching at straws here
.
Is there still a Pivot development team with the Jewetts managed by Emiline?
It looks like she's full time with Conti and I don't see the boys in BKs videos.
Maybe not a new topic here / or that anyone else noticed by Remi Metallier is no longer a 7Mesh sponsored athlete, wearing Norrona in the latest video..did they have to cut him for the sponsoring deal with ALN and Commencal?

Aaron Gwin / Gwin Racing on CRESTLINE frames. Also a change to e.thirteen tires as noted in the photos. Dig into the PR for deets, he's part owner of Crestline through this deal. We chatted last night and being part owner of a brand or even starting his own brand was something he'd wanted to do for a few years now and this was the opportunity to get that done. Instead of rushing a podcast yesterday, we're going to talk with him next week after the dust settles, so if you have any questions, let us know! -gordo
Official PR
Aaron Gwin Partners with Crestline Bikes as Owner and Gwin Racing's New Bike Sponsor
Aaron Gwin, 5-time World Cup downhill mountain biking champion, has announced a new partnership with Crestline Bike Co., signifying his formal venture into ownership in the cycling industry. Additionally, Crestline Bike Co. is set to become the official frame sponsor for Gwin Racing, Aaron's newly formed downhill race team.
This collaboration represents a pivotal milestone for both Gwin and Crestline. Combining Gwin's experience in the world of mountain bike racing with Crestline's dedication to quality and excellence, the stage is set for an exciting future.
The Gwin Racing team will feature a solid lineup of young talent, including Seth Sherlock and Mikey Delesalle, who will join Gwin as teammates. The team will race Crestline’s RS 205 VHP downhill frame at the 2024 UCI downhill World Cups, World Championships, and select National races.
“I am very excited to begin this new chapter of my career with Crestline Bike Co. Being a part of a bike brand as an owner is an absolute dream of mine. From our first conversations, I felt that we had great alignment and shared many of the same values and aspirations. I have much to share on these details soon but for now, I just want to say thank you to Troydon and Mark for the shared belief and opportunity to help lead this brand into the future.
I’m also looking forward to continuing my race program for 2024 under my umbrella, Gwin Racing. I’m excited about our lineup of riders and staff as well. Seth has been on our team for almost 5 years now and I’m stoked to continue watching his progress. He has a ton of talent on a bike, works incredibly hard, and is a constant positive vibe in the pits. I’m also excited to welcome our new junior rider, Mikey Delesalle to the team. I’ve been working with Mikey for a little over a year now. During that time, I’ve been very impressed by his attitude, speed, and commitment. I can’t wait to be back at the races!”. - Aaron Gwin
“We’re buzzing over our partnership with Aaron and Gwin Racing. This relationship is poised to extend far beyond the racetrack, with strong alignment in our shared vision for the future of Crestline Bike Co. Having someone of Aaron's caliber on board as we move forward is truly incredible." - Troydon (Co-founder, Crestline Bike Co.)
“Yes, it does seem cliche to say it, but we’re excited about this new relationship with Crestline Bike Co. Not just for the race team, but also everything else that stems from this partnering, all of which will be announced in due time. Crestline are forward thinkers, but at the same time, they are realistic about what it takes to achieve a high level of performance. This aligns well with our team’s vision and goals over the next few years. Once again, I look forward to assisting Aaron and our sponsors, as we target future podiums!” -Todd Schumlick / team manager
“Beyond stoked to be riding for Gwin Racing aboard Crestline bikes this season! After a tough 2023 season battling injury, I was left with a lot of uncertainty of what my 2024 season would look like. When Aaron came to me with the opportunity to ride for his team this year it was a dream come true! Our components this year are better than ever and first impressions on the Crestline are fantastic. Can’t wait for a great year of racing with this crew!” - Seth Sherlock
“I am super stoked to have the opportunity to join Gwin Racing. With Seth and Aaron as teammates, I can’t wait to learn from them as the season progresses and as we transition to the new bike. From first looks at the Crestline bike it is definitely one of the sickest bikes I’ve ever seen and can’t wait to get riding and racing on it!” - Mikey Delesalle

Crestline…!
Edit: Spomer beat me to the punch!
That's a big surprise
aaron said he has a PB podcast about it today. i assume it's up. as noted, we'll have one next week. some interesting stuff for sure.
holy hell did anyone see this coming? With all the speculation floating around, I don’t think crestline has been mentioned even once.
great way to put them on the radar for people who haven’t heard of them before that’s for sure
Wow, did NOT see that coming! Guess the only mysteries left are what frame Danny is riding in NZ and where Minnaar will end up.
Sounds like Gwin is now part owner of Crestline.
Minnaar is definitely on Norco, and Danny Hart's on the Nukeproof team list, unless I'm missing something
I don’t think anyone has seen Danny ride a nukeproof yet though, we need actual picture evidence
You’re missing the sarcasm!
Don’t think anyone called it but I’d say it’s pretty unsurprising gwin is going into ownership based on his his moves. Exciting stuff!
So will he be testing at mmmm wait where is that trail again.
wow, way to give away the name of the riding spot. what a narc.
your trail is now known as Gwinrock West!
To be fair, whenever that trail is mentioned I think of him riding it. I think.
and I’m no geoguesser but it took me about 7 minutes to find it on google maps / strava when you guys Streisand Effected it earlier in this thread.
This is cool news. Those bikes look so good! Hyped he’ll be in the starting gate this season. Never bet against this guy.
Rad!
Gwin on Crestline...is Crestline not a HP VPP frame?...the tech that doesn't suit him on Intense???
Anyway..he's back
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I wonder if they’ll have a Horst link high pivot made ASAP or if he’ll somehow make the crestline work for him even though it seemed impossible with the intense as a VPP?
Someone here a while back did say an American brand that is also the name of an American place. wild
stoked to see how he goes this season
Gwin to Crestline makes sense to why Sam moved after a year to Zerode.
