The switch kinda thingie part in the suspension comes from the vertical link pulling the lower link up until the vertical link passes past the main rocker pivot, after that point the lower link should start rotating back down. Therefore a similar behaviour as the switch 4-bar suspension systems.

Considering how unrefined/proto-stage the 6-bar Supreme is, I'd be REALLY surprised to see it being sold in 2022.

Enduro bikes becoming more capable and closer to DH bikes, where they aren't as good for general tour riding and pedalling, so it makes more sense to buy a trail bike and for bike park duties a proper DH bike?

In August 2012, I got a Vivid Air shock to my Yeti SB66 with BOS Deville fork. After two years with a season ticket in Hafjell, I decided that I had just as much fun on my trail bike, and sold my Morewood Makulu with BOS Idylle and S*toy. Which was a pretty sweet bike at the time! Other people I have spoken with also experienced that 2012 marked the year where trail bikes and suspension were up to the task in bike parks, and decided to sell their DH bikes.

I had that thought too but with 170/180mm of travel my hometrails are boring. I live in the black Forest in Germany an here are Great trails but Most of the trails around my Home aren‘t That steep and technical so 140/150mm is all you need here.

I only ride a dh bike and xc hardtail in northern germany, if you maybe stumble across some trails here, they are organised as a small park, so you basically have to push up no matter the bike. Here it doesn’t make any sense for an enduro bike, as the trails are too mellow and if you go to a proper park, you miss the dh bike

Ja Nord Deutschland kann man ja nicht mit dem Schwarzwald vergleichen berge hat es hier schon aber wegen der 2m- Regel ist man schon froh überhaupt Rad fahren zu dürfen.

Vielleicht geh ich nach der Ausbildung nach Freiburg oder so in nen gescheiten bikeshop. War da einmal zu Besuch auch mit Rad und hat schon Bock gemacht

When compressing it cranks, if it compress, it turns instead of going againdt your foot.

It's not a question of the chainring rotates or not. The question is if you're traveling fast enough to roll out the rear wheel faster than the chain pulling on the freewheel.

The only way to eliminate pedal kickback would be to enable the chainring to rotate backwards so when the chain pulls on it, it can rotate but the cranks don't. But that would make pedalling a bit of an issue.

It will definitely be the old/current model with the single high pivot. I spoke to them a few weeks ago. They will probably release different builds similar to the 2021 line-up. Will be interesting to see if they still offer models with Fox, RS and Öhlins suspension.

They will release the new line-up on Oct 5th according to their webpage.

I expect the new version to be released mid- or even late-2022.

Is there not a UCI regulation that limits the amount of time (1 year?) that a team is able to field a bike that is not yet in production? Or maybe the geometry and linkage tweaks they're doing allow them to skirt around that?

Yes, prototypes can only be used if they have been approved by UCI and for 12 months, until being offered for sale to the public. They can request an extension to the 12 months but it's all down to UCI. I'm not sure if it has to be able to be bought after 12 months or as long as they intend to sell it in the future I'm not sure
