Well women's soccer and rugby are clearly not as popular as men's is. But there are sports that are just as popular on both sides. A pair of them is alpine skiing and cross country skiing (and volleyball and handball, compared to soccer or rugby), which are actually quite similar to some mountain biking disciplines. The main thing in these though is that women's and men's races are separate from each other.

I suppose women's DH would benefit from that too, maybe employ tracks that are a bit easier, but still fast and interesting. Though for that to happen the sport needs more money, more support and probably live TV coverage.

Btw, could that ragdoll thingy be Jack "Shark Attack" Moir? Long curly hair and that weird thing could be a scar. He kicked some butt in Cairns last year, so he's probably on a few factory-radars. I also heard that Team Bergamont got a new kid, so maybe it's Jack's "replacement".

I think at this point we have to admit that the original graphic isn't 100% accurate. Unless the 'needles' are for some else, Neethling is on Polygon. The kangaroo that we assumed was Brosnan can't be, because he's full Spec and off TLD. Maybe we got the pictures wrong, but it seems as if Team Rumors may have been off a bit.

Adam. The whole point of Team Rumors is that HE/or SHE knew some rumors at the beginning of the silly season and made a well anticipated and well received graphic depiction thereof. In years past there have been timely updates, but this year, due to frivolous lawsuits, further updates have been unavailable. I don't know who MR or MRS Rumors is but I for one appreciate their input and will allow, personally, for some initial inaccuracies.

Unfortunately the identity(s) of teamrumours is not entirely a secret within the racing community, shame that it seems word has spread a bit higher up the chain. Of course it's always possible that Vital is just spreading rumors of their own Wink

Still there are details missing on the new Intense/Palmer team regarding kit etc. Maybe there will be TLD on board (according to the posts earlier they are still missing) or there will be some "new" name aboard?

Nope, on the press release of Brosnan leaving TLD they stated at the end:

"Continuing on with the Troy Lee Designs World Cup Downhill PRO TEAM for 2015 will be Aaron Gwin, Brendan Fairclough, Sam Hill and Steve Peat. More announcements on TLD's other athletes and disciplines to come soon and the launch of an entirely new collection for 2015 coming in Mid-Feb."

Yeah, I read it too, I think it was somewhere in Instagram. Thinking it may be Brosnan although he was using Spec helmets last season, and also Spy goggles. Sik Mick maybe?? He was with 100% goggles this season...

Bruni will be riding the 100% helmet i think, maybe his junior teammate as well, i sadly forgot his name...

EDIT: there was a picture of a pair of 100% helmets, one of the Red Bull colored and i think it even had Bruni written on it. That's why i'm thinking about the Lapierre teammate.

Bell helmets announcement shows a couple changes to some teams.

Looks like Bergamont only has Masters returning on the men's side, added Max Warshawsky and Rupert Chapman.

And Slavin no longer riding for Kona, looks like he is on Devinici. Been a Kona rider for a long time.
