And now with covid restrictions and so we might not get much in terms of real news till february or so I'd say, since my guess is most race series will try and push the calendar back a bit into the summer in hopes of getting public in. May be talking out of my ass, but sounds at least logic.
Usually the rumors are in December and the news is in January as contracts typically are by the year and don’t begin and start with wc season. Some teams may wait till feb to announce team to get there own 10 minutes in spot light or to match a product release. Of course some stragglers sign contracts at this time too. My guess is rumors are low this year as some teams/riders probably just wrote off last year and did one year extensions, there aren’t quite as many big names up for negotiation and many we already know where they are headed. Plus without gwin on the market the pb comment section can’t get too riled up

Well, it obviously isn't the same when an industry insider isn't creating doodles and posting all over the internet to fuel the rumor mill.

We also bashed away people contributing "X brand liked Y rider's instagram story so he is definitely going there" posts.

Wouldn’t mind seeing him with the intense boys again. They could use a euro guy and he’s between neko and Seth in terms of age and career. Angel prob can help them more on results sheet than neko can. (Neko is my favorite dude in scene it’s not meant to be a knock on him). Angel is simply really damn fast and is a year or two and a great run away from a Greenland type win. hope he gets the support he needs to get there.

If Loris moves to Trek, who of the current riders will leave? Reece is confirmed already. Hard to believe that Ethan will leave while Andrew is managing the team. Kade is good racer and an incredible bike rider in general, so Trek would be silly to let him go. And Charlie is an excellent racer as well, but if I would have to put my money on who will leave Trek, it would be him. Can’t see them to have 5 top riders...

- Loris to Trek (likely) or Specialized (not likely IMO, as he wanted to get away from Loic)

Could see either Loris or Angel off to Scott. Brendog has said himself he sees himself retiring maybe even after this coming season (iirc he said so in one of his lockdown vlogs?), and Deano seems like he's more focused on personal betterment than racing bikes atm (which all the power to him, you only have one life and should enjoy it, but Scott need a top flight racer), and Loris and Marine would probably work on a team, they both seem to be kinda aloof but are sick on a bike.


I would tbh love to see Angel on the Syndicate, he seems to fit the mold to me, deffo has the minerals, and the Goat is now living a small jump from his front door, so they could even train together in the galician slop or Andorra snows this winter.

Angel to commencal almost confirmed, he was already seen riding one, so expect that.
