That's a shame. He seemed fit, fast and seemed to have a much better attitude going into this season, a bit more relaxed. The last few season DH fans have slagged him a big for his bad attitude, myself included, but in all the interviews so far this season he just seemed like a happier person. Hope he heals up well and keeps it up.
Now that Gee isn't a dick anymore we can feel bad that he's hurt?

Tbh I don't understand all this hate about Gee. He's a top class athlete, always a podium contender. You don't know the guy, you can't say that he's a dick after a 5 minute interview...A dislocated hip is a serious injury, it takes some time to be fully recovered. I hope to see the guy back on podium
Entry list of riders for Ft. William
- 144 Elite Men, Sam Hill is on there (YES!)
- 34 Elite Women and 8 Junior Women. the bummer is that not one is from the U.S.
- 47 Junior Men
Some big names relegated to B practice after last round's rainout, and even more in the unfamiliar position of being unprotected in qualies. The latter could end some title hopes for good if they run into trouble and don't make the finals. At least there will be something to talk about besides wheels size?
The YOB column is interesting. Minnaar is the oldest competitor, born in 81, Mick Hannah is 2nd oldest in 83. Lots of young talent. The future looks promising!
Can someone address 27.5 vs 29 wheel aerodynamics and drag when attempting to cut thru a midge swarm? Seems like smaller wheels will win out? Keep your chin's up boys... ;-)
It's going to be another big "shake up" this weekend. I hope the current top ten enjoyed it while it lasted, they're almost all about to get put into the wall.
^^^ so ghetto! we'll just glue 0.75 of an inch of carbon on the end and it'll be fine...
Carbon and glue is what the rest of the frame is made of, several individually molded sections of carbon and glue attached to each other with yet more glue. Would be surprised if that top layer you can see in the pic isn't simply for aesthetics though.
