I heard rumors that BOS has/had financial problems and that at one point was on the edge of bankruptcy - highly doubt they would sponsor a team like the SC Syndicate.

I am not an account expert, but it seems you are right, I just checked on a dedicated website and.....
A trade court decision allowed the company to still run their business in November 2010, certainly due to better 2010 results compare to catastrophic 2009.
I just hope 2011 will be even better for them.
Gee Atherton was the leading rider for Shimano gear the last few years,maybe they need someone new in the program...and the Syndicate is podium certified all around.
