Those vests look awful. Couldn't they just do a red number plate like in Moto, and be done with it? As it is now, half the sponsors will be dreading the day their rider leads the WC - no more logos in the pictures! OK I exagerate, but still, what's the big deal with a leader's jersey? Plate would be much cooler.

It isn't true. If you want to film the race runs, and you aren't working for a team, you have to pay to show race runs. That money however goes to the UCI not Red Bull. Same as the last few years IIRC.
Red Bull are going to be broadcasting it, not sure if it's gonna be live yet.
now it's official... Red Bull Mediahouse is the new media partner of the UCI and will produce the worldcup. you will find the live stream on www.redbull.com/bike or www.redbull.tv
Also, lapierre international is now down as an XC only team. So we might see Blenky and Cam Cole on a different lapierre team?
A few nuggets of info if you dig around, including previews of some 2012 jerseys...
Duncan Riffle is on Dirt / Norco
Rumor going around that a certain PNW shredder whose first name rhymes with Duke is going to be shredding for a company whose name rhymes with divot.
