Looks good until ett. I'd need a 60mm stem on the XL to get a comfortable pedaling position. That's nuts.

I thought alloy spokes and carbon rims was a bad idea if you ride in the wet?

I'm not riding at the limits of the bike, not even my own limits most of the time. I prefer a slacker head angle, but not because of its behavior in the steeps; but for the more technical lines (even skinnies!) I have a better feel for the front end when it's farther in front of me. If I'm comfortable...

I spent a long time writing up a review on the e13 TRS+ dropper, unfortunately vital pooped itself and the review didn't upload. Anyways... The e13 is cheap. It looks nice. It works ok in cold weather. It works ok in hot weather. It doesn't work if it gets wet. Rotational play after 2 rides. Customer support is basically "here is some info, you figure it out for us." Jenson passes on all issues to e13 and won't take back a faulty unit. TL;DR don't buy the e13 TRS+ dropper post and especially don't buy it from Jenson. Rating 1...

Not really an "e-bike". A road bike modified with a sketchy e-bike aftermarket wheel. Yes, likely an overheat in high temps, sun, getting worked on the steep climb.

I only care about the frame honestly. They aren't trying to sell anything, hence the "crap job showing off".

You do know a lot of the BOD posts are just bike shops showing off?

76 degree effective seat tube angle as it sits. Instead of bending the seat tube to look steeper, we use an offset straight seat-tube so people could use the length rather than face interference issues. When combined with shorter seat tube lengths, it allows for 170mm droppers to fit on all sizes of our bikes (and 200mm droppers on MD, LG, and XL) making the limiting factor what the rider wants to run, not the bike. Engineering first.

Yeah, we've never been fully OTB. The closest we've come is to go up on the nose then fall over sideways. Doing that destroyed the front wheel as well. The tandem equivalent of going OTB is a really solid bottom bracket impact that completely stops the bike. The bike stops but both the riders carry on forwards and often go over their respective handlebars.
