For 6-er series alloys yes. For 7-er not really (160 °C only), this is one of the reasons Nicolai uses 7020.

Pretty cool to be able to do a bike like this by yourself, wish I had the skills and equipment. Did you miscaculate the seat angle ? It looks super steep (82° ? Maybe more ?) but then the saddle is set all the way back.
