8/24/2021 3:07am The most interesting thing about this concept, if I got it well, is not the gearbox, it's the possibility to build the frame to rider's size on order. If I get it right, both toptube and downtube have a constant radius curved end (seattube side) which means they could be kinda-mass produced and then cut to fit the rider's size...

Will_Narayan Added a comment about product review Range
8/22/2021 7:28am When I make this bike in Linkage the AS values range (^_^) from -30% on the smallest cog to 120% on the biggest one. Basically if I do it right there's no AS on the lowest gears. Is that ok ? No need for AS at all on those gears ? KB consequently goes quite in the negative -4.5° on the smallest cog. Isn't that a problem either ?

8/15/2021 11:12am Yeah the black tape is probably to avoid sun glare, there's the same on some aircrafts and dozers or other heavy machinery.

7/31/2021 9:48am Hey Mericans. You are taking yourself to serious. Many people here do net have english as first language and where not raised in americain culture. You should accept that a joke is a joke. Is was not the best but hey, it was a joke. In my opinion this became way fo big just trough social media. Social media are bad. Very bad. Peace out to all the keyboard worriors that will now eat me alive. Leben und leben lassen Vivre et laisser vivre

Will_Narayan Added a reply to The HUGE downside of EMTB's
7/20/2021 12:15pm The huge downside of emtbs is that most are ugly. For me, except Nicolai and Commencal, most don't appeal to me. Maybe Santa Cruz (but expensive) or Kellys (but unknown).

4/13/2021 12:03pm Just tried the Supreme in Linkage with the chainstay pulling a rocker somewhere near the BB, seems you can rather easily get a slightly S curve with lot of progression. But the anti-rise at such a position seem to be around 190-140%, so maybe the cover could be there to hide a much more forward pivot point, which brings the...

4/6/2021 3:15pm Mmh, on second thought yeah, the hydroform tube kind of brings the flow nicely, a straight tube may have a different effect. Maybe a curved tube but with a simple round section would be the best of both worlds.

4/3/2021 11:16am Seems to me these would be used as handguards, cuz' while the pilot can dodge a tree or whatever, the stoker can't, and doesn't even see things coming at him/her much. Very nice bike, nice line. Just a shame the down tube is square when all others are round. Very dynamic.

Will_Narayan Added a comment about feature Why Not Just Make MTB Parts in the USA? The Inside Line Podcast
3/11/2021 9:57am But that's a big problem. When you've been sending the production overseas for decades, to the point that the related jobs are not valued anymore, so that students don't want to do this, or as said in this podcast would rather work for boeing of medical, it's the whole chain that is broken and lost. It's quite strange that people are raving about expensive bikes but that most people would feel kind of ashamed to be the guy working on it. We totally lost it over time... For instance you could have your welders doing "relatively-mass-produced" frames but every once...

2/25/2021 10:44am I don't know what the CBF patent exactly patents, but that's pretty much the same thing isn't it ? That's what I was saying on the previous page, a short link pointing to the top of chainring, a longer one pointing down and the IC moving on the line created by these 2 points. Maybe CBF's IC is moving a...

2/21/2021 3:11am Isn't it some kind of mix between CBF (canfield balance formula) with one short link pointing at the base of the long link where all the IC/antisquat thing happens, and the Banshee Legend where the shock is mounted on the short link that pivots forward ?
