i asked neko this morning and he said that asa's priority for the season is world cup results. asa is free to race whatever he wants, but asa chose to sit this one out (can't blame him, consequences are pretty heavy going down here). he'll race rock creek next week.

I would choose to watch Brendogs run over the others for sure, TMacs was a fairly close second though. Having said that, I don’t think it should win Rampage and I feel like he even knows that. Semenuks run was not worthy of the win imo though. I felt like I was watching slopestyle.

Not exactly what you are talking about, but my 29er Jeffsy doesn’t feel any less playful than my 29er hardtail. It’s 5 lbs heavier and I still choose it every time even in mellow terrain.

Imo it just takes a little bit for your body to learn how to control your heart rate on the climbs. Once you get that down, it gets way easier. I did an off road Moto event recently and I was 10x more sore from that than I ever am from Mtb.
