worst. idea. ever. hope it's not true. just more risk for some riders. DH is not moto, it's not F1, they're not racing against competitors on the same track at the same time. if 20 finalists is "the best tv show" for the numbers to make sense, then just leave it at that. we'll all be upset for a year or two about how it's not like the old days, lick our wounds and riders will either try to compete for top 20 or regional/national series will become more populated. i can't even imagine the cost to put on a...

I am sure he could still post on instagram with broken collarbones. I broke my right collarbone pretty significantly a year ago and still won a pool tournament that night. I had some liquid courage, but out of all the bones I have broken it was by far the easiest.

If it isn’t patent infringement, it is fair game as far as I am concerned. Anyone can make something nice that costs outrageous amounts.

Pumped Asa is racing! Probably won’t happen this weekend, but I think the Asa/ Tyler Waite battle will be awesome this year.

I haven’t, but I will now. I couldn’t remember what his name was, I just knew there was another that I kept hearing people talk about. Definitely going to be an interesting exciting year in juniors.

Doesn’t even seem right to have Asa race with the juniors this year. I’ve heard there is another junior who is suppose to give him a run for his money this year, but it is kind of hard to believe. It is insane how fast he is for how young he is.

Yeah barely had ride time on his new rig. And still getting that stiffness in the arm, potential nerve issues as well I'd assume. He didn't really mention it but that kind of surgery plus DH is always rough. I did my elbow in and got bolted together. Every now again if I have to do a press up my arm just turns off. I survive cuz I'm not racing DH but I'd hate to do that in a rock garden at race pace.

Could the fact that the Pivot head tube has both joins at almost a parallel angle be an issue? I.e if you pull directly away from the frame with the head tube it literally can slide off. Whereas the Atherton frame has the top tube and downtube meet at an angle at the head tube (obviously they don't actually meet one another) which ignoring the bonding would make it more resistant to be pulled straight off
