NO! that sucks! was really hoping to see him perform.
Me too, so bummed!
i wanna know the elbow pad model so i can consider avoiding it

Idk if any other English speakers watch these vids from the Fast AF crew, but there is often some good insights and interviews
How does Ronan make it to the end of the season, let alone a race weekend? Every run he has seems to have half a dozen near death moments!

With both Elite titles wrapped up, and now Asa out of Juniors which pretty much guarantees Max Alran the overall as long as he races, the only overall title still in contention this weekend is Junior Women. The battle is between Erice Van Leuven and Heather Wilson. Unfortunately, Ellie Hulsebosch isn't racing after a big slam at an iXS cup a few weeks ago (healing vibes!). Here is are some notes on who needs to finish where to take the title:
- For Heather to take the overall, Erice has to finish 3rd or worse (assuming a tie in points goes to the rider with the most wins this season, which would be Heather)
- If someone else wins, and Heather finishes 2nd, Erice would have to finish 4th or better to maintain the overall.
- Sacha Earnest sits 4th in the overall, and has to finish 3rd or better to pass Ellie and secure 3rd in the overall.
Since I was already looking at overall points, here is top 20 for Elite's as well. There are some really tight battles in both classes, which will make the finals-only points payout a bit more exciting on race day.
hate to be that guy every round but i struggle with the new formats...
when is juniors qualifying?
how many riders actually race finals per category?
and does fantasy close after qualies or after semis?
What happened to Amaury? DNS for qualies, hope he's okay!
Apparently smacked a tree in practice and broke his hand. Bummed!
sucks for amaury! juniors qualifying now. it's gonna be a fun fantasy w/ no points for qualis or semis and protected riders chilling and not putting it down. way more mysterious! fantasy clock at the top of the page. it closes at 5am PST tomorrow - before the race, like always.
daprela went down hard too. saw a vid (but not mine to share). high-side to back/head after stevie smith drop at speed. it's gross.
Womens semi's stopped???
Strictly based off the live timing feed looks like Jess Blewitt went down.
Just piecing that together myself, she pushes so hard, hopefully she is okay.
word on the ground is jess was taken down in a stretcher. hope it's not too serious. gutted for her.
Terrible! But thanks for the update.
Any word on Daprela?
today's Vital RAW. when loic puzzles after a decade of riding the same section, you know it's difficult.
Looks like Daprela slipped his right hand off the handlebar which lead to the crash: https://www.instagram.com/stories/jessemelamed/3471621691520994413/?hl=de (Jesse Melamed's Instagram story)
Heavy impact indeed 😳
men's semi's underway (if you're a kook like me who was just staring at women's wondering when it would start again LOL)

Nice to see Greg make his last finals at MSA, a podium would be a great way to go out but regardless just shows that he's GOAT.
wow im changing my fantasy so much. i dunno about the semis thing and i hope the new format next year works ok as a LCF. Matt Walker put down a stormer and then just missed out. such a bummer.
Gwin and Minnaar absolutely showing up in to finals at MSA WhatYearIsIt.jpeg
2017. Arguably the greatest battle in dh. With gwins run in msa being the peak. Which is arguably the greatest dh run ever given the circumstances of how the season played out and Aaron winning coming down last in the rain.
sucks to see blewitt out again. Really hope it’s not snowshoe level bad. She is on a gee trajectory with these injuries. Luckily Red Bull is a good sponsor to have in these situations but you gotta feel for her.
Speaking of Snowshoe, 2019 may be the greatest DH battle of all time. Despite it being a 'hoping a man beats your man to win' scenario. Just the fact that Danny was down and then up, literally changing the implications of the overall half way down the hill lol
And speaking of Gwin's rides, def an insane rain run under pressure but it's tough to not say his VDS run in 2012 is his most insane. And of course Hart's Champerey run is the best DH run of all time. I still feel like... Danny made a deal with the devil for that run. There's no way you can have that much traction to go that fast in that shit lol
