2/21/2026 4:48pm This is dope! I'm building up a mullet Banshee Titan with TR37's, a TTX22m.2 and a Mezzer Pro. How're you liking that suspension package?

2/20/2026 6:40pm
The TTX22m has now been around for 10 years, and during that time no major changes have been made to the core, twin-tube architecture of this iconic coil shock that made its MTB debut on Specialized bikes at the end of 2012. Metric and Trunnion versions were added a few years ago as the shocks became more widely available both for OEM and aftermarket fitting, and Öhlins also played around with the physical orientation of the piggyback cylinders to allow the shock to fit more frames, but throughout it all, the underlying architecture was left pretty much unchanged. Given that...

Robust, plush damping, just works out of box. I fiddled with the damping and to be honest I didn't need to as it is already setup on a great window. It could be a bit more silent though. Very happy with this.

2/13/2026 5:55pm I had no idea so many people were running 60mm stems in 2026. I thought since like 2020 50mm was the absolute max with 40 and 35 being most common.

2/10/2026 8:25pm Rider here running Rulezman stems on two XXL bikes for over 2 years. Running 75mm rise bars aswell for context. Bars are rolled forward so grips are in line with the fork. Have no issues with front wheel weight/grip. I am yet to wash the front and confidence is at all time high. Took the gamble and it's worked out well for me.

2/10/2026 8:25am I run a 32mm and it's fine. I would run shorter in the future if possible. If my frame has the correct geo for me, I don't need a long stem.

1/19/2026 6:56pm Big Paul Aston fan so I also agree with him (ran them on the big travel bike and also amazing). I think his recommendation may come more down to how much you're taking your feet off the pedals (Void's win in that department), where many like to dab lots/dirt jump etc on their shorter travel rigs. I'm a feet on pedals sort of rider so it's a non-factor for me. If I could get 150mm cranks (instead of 160mm as the shortest) I likely would have got Pendulums for the eMTB big-travel rig too (it's more that I notice the...

1/19/2026 6:27pm Great feedback! I am a size L glove, so maybe the Wax's will be the move, I like a 32mm diameter grip. It's interesting, cuz Paul Aston is exactly the opposite on the Outliers: he swears by the Pendulum for gravity and the Void for regular trail riding. But you guys fully agree about push-ons! I will have to dip my toe in at some point because I love the Outlier concept. I have a hardtail set up for pedally trail riding, so whatever doesn't work on the enduro rig can be handed down to the hardtail. I'll just have...

1/19/2026 6:21pm Cheers mate! Stoked on it. It's saving my gravel bike from the arguably unfair abuse I'd been putting it through on proper MTB trails. I'd say the Pendulums even better on short travel/less plush bikes as the dropped axle "auto-dipped-heel-on-impacts" feature makes up for the lesser sag/glued down feeling you inherently get from bigger bikes. I recently listened to a podcast on Blister with Outlier (Cam) who said the same thing (which was rather validating). I loved how easy it is to service these pedals, literally 1 second to remove the axle from the body) I got the Void's for...
