Are they going to have a race replay on YouTube? And why have the post race press conference before showing the race. Kind of a spoiler. I’ve intentionally been trying to not see the results so I can just watch the replay, but of course I’ve already been spoiled on the men’s race winner!

the replay is quite an undertaking, but it will be out any minute now + it being the first race there were some growing pains with timing and things of that nature b ut in the future they will come out on the same day or we will be first unfortunately for you I'm afraid. Sponsors, teams, and fans, want us to have this out as soon as possible. Not to say that won't change in the future. Hope you can understand and appreciate the undertaking for media and staff for the first race of a brand new season. Just...

valid complaint. I think the excitement of us having the first press conference on this side of the pond may have overtaken our judgment and wanted to get it out ASAP because all parties were so pumped on it. but makes perfect sense.

Everyone can agree that last fall into early this spring was super nutty bonkers crazy from the standpoint of both racers and sponsors. There were challenges around timing for everyone and yeah it looks a bit weird. But it was a very weird silly season and now it just is what it is. Time to get pumped for '24. Windrock...

We can't speak for Aletha and Taylor (aka The Ostgaards), but we did get an ok from them to post here on this topic. V+R's best understanding is that Aletha chose to leave TFR for different opportunities and TFR chose to end Taylor's contract. Events appeared to have happened in that order. V+R Racing will be the podium hat sponsor...

Uhm, except you have it bass-ackwards: Imperial nation SRAM uses 200mm and Metric nation Shimano uses 203mm (which I have never once seen labeled/marketed as "8-inch" rotors). Afraid you've got the wrong conspiracy: it's not nation states, it's capitalism: Shimano wants to lock consumers into their system and prevent cross-compatibility w/ SRAM et. al. wherever possible. Need more evidence? Spend a little time reading up on cable-pull ratios w/ shifters & derailleurs. Shimano started playing those games to stick it to Campy at the dawn of indexed shifting.

I'd kill 203/223mm rotors. 200/220 is the way.

i would like to point out that before Mercedes happened in the 2010's, there was a Mercedes Benz Marin MTB racing team circa 1998 with British racers such as James Allaway and Dave Hemming. We also had: Volvo Cannondale, Schwinn Toyota, Trek Volkswagen, Ford Kona, Gary Fisher Subaru, Subaru on Mountain Dew Specialized, BMW Proflex, Klein Catera, Chevy Trucks on Team GT, Wiesmann Roadster on Nicolai made bikes and so on and so forth. The World Cup was also sponsored by German electronic maker Grundig in its beginnings, then by Diesel and then famously by Rocky Roads, thanks to the...

From what I've heard about the new Fitzsimmons lift, 5 person chairs that also hold bikes are in. The singles line is gonna scream this season. (My understanding is that the chair holds 8 people, but only 5 bikes.Someone correct me here.)

Dude YouTube influencers, get out of here. YouTube keeps recommending the Loam Ranger to me and I find his stuff insufferable. He’s probably a nice guy but his video contents are super cheesy.
