This is Rampage not Slopestyle. Brendog hands down once again was "big mountain freeriding". Easily the most raw/tech line. Incoming Claw driving back home video on the judging. The judges are indeed giving points to couch surfers. "Oh he spun, did a double backflip..." People can relate to "tricks". Real riders know how insane brendogs line was. End rant... I’d like to see it run 100 in qualifying, 30 in finals, NO protected riders, NO WC overall points for qualification. big dogs would have to slow down to make sure they qualify (without flat tires crashing etc) and then you have another 70-80 guys sending it to make it into the final. Still gives plenty of chances for privateers to make the final and trims the final down to 30 which is good for TV. also a lot more simple rules and points which is important when the governing body can’t follow their own regulations

....A worrisome thought. What if Norco sees the writing on the wall with new UCI fees, and has decided to just bail? If so, that would be horrible, and could start other teams revisiting cost / benefit for MTB team publicity /promotion.

Not a team rumor, so sorry for bumping this thread with something slightly ot but I had no where else to put this. Greg Minnar and Nina Hoffman were at the fox head HQ last night for an open house and my wife wanted to go down and meet them. She's a big fan of UCI DH and has always had a crush on the goat and is a big Nina Hoffman fan. We ended up getting to meet and talk to both. Nina in particular, was so effing nice to my wife. My wife got into MTB about 2.5...
