Hard to see but looks like the alloy versions use a seattube-straddling link rather than the pocket style of the carbon frames?

I'm appreciating that this was written by someone who's given a little thought to technical writing! I think it's important to add, though, that just because a tire mounts up and holds air doesn't mean it won't burp or roll under hard riding. Rims that don't have a pronounced center channel/depression are the most suspect, because the bead will often seal against the relatively large diameter center, but once seated against the walls isn't really held much tighter than what it took to get the tire onto the rim in the first place. On these rims (Sun CR18 for example)...

Yeah, I mean sweet moto, don't have any problem with trying to use bike parts to make a light moto, but why bother with pedals when a human's wattage is going to be about 4% of what's available?

I was a little offended too, but thinking more you basically have a standard 11-36 10speed spread in the gears you're in 95% of the time with nice intervals, and then one bail-out gear. I think I could get down with that, or, up rather.
