I'm going to play Devil's Advocate for a second here since there's a lot of assumptions and blind hate toward Giant. There are other possibilities for the lawsuit being dismissed than Giant being an evil Goliath. Maybe DW's claims of patient violations would not have held up in patient court as DW originally thought so he dropped the claims. Maybe the cost of litigation and the time fighting was not worth even the best possible outcome; this would likely have been true against even a small company and is not specific to a large company like Giant. there is plenty of proper journalism on vital. But what i also like about it is their connection with the riders and media and industry and the quick from the horses mouth info as it comes. There is plenty of time and place for a proper indepth expose... but this is just info in from the other side of the world. If you dont like it dont read it. Wait for Bike or Dirt to come out in 2 months time.

All comments below are completely spot-on, but to be fair, Pinarello is Italian, and they are a road bike company that clearly knows almost nothing about MTB. There is a cultural disconnect - This kind of hyperbole is fairly common in their cycling market/industry. They're just trying to sound exciting and radical but of course to us this just sounds like a load of shit. Which it is. But still, they probably don't mean to sound as crass as they do. What I think is so totally awesome is that they got a native English speaking "Guy With That Voice"...
