Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
They are bad for climbing (no gears), bad for descending (limited by crank rpm), bad for stopping fast (no hand brakes), etc...
Side note: if you are trying to join a fixie crew then disregard my comments, you will need a fixie.
I have riden some of his fixes and you really have to get your gearing dialed. Luckily he had a ton of gear combos to choose from so I was able to set it up for the road I would be riding. But if you're off by even a few teeth it can mean you're pushing instead of riding up hills.
I don't recommend it at all.
