Very nice. I'm intrigued as to where that extra 25mm travel comes from though. I imagine a longer shock and fork would compromise the design too much. So is this a development prototype, or perhaps a Bronson in disguise?

This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Braaap!!!!!!!!!!! He is so fast on each section. I would have been OTB on some of those. Seriously, this should be a MUST WATCH. Good on Steel City Media; sometimes you don't need music to make a great 3-5 minute video edit.

Not much, more responsible maintenance than anything else but it probably looks like it's been surfaced because of the rain. I was there a few months ago and it's still classic Schladming. That video stops just below the halfway point, the infamous woods sections start right after that step-up.

They pulled out from the UCI circuit because Alpine World Champs was hosted there in Feb 2013. It's up to Schladming/Planai to put up the cash to host another UCI event, so we can only hope that they do.

Yeah.......if you could keep posting videos like this one, that would be great. Yeah. It's a pity he broke himself off at the beginning of the season - Brayton is one of those loose-cannons that is capable of winning a world cup if he keeps it together for a full run.

I wish they would have finished filming the rest of the track!! They cut it off right before all of the wooded mega gnar!! I really hope Schladming/Planai gets back into the mix with the UCI. This track is SOOOOO much better than Leogang...

So...WC DH became more professional and that is a bad thing? I mean I'm not on the WC circuit but it still seems like those guys are still the raucous fun loving group of dudes as they've always been. Just healthier and more focused. Has that filtered down the line as you say, yeah. I will agree that people being too serious at the amateur level is disappointing, reminds me of cycling. I wouldn't quit racing because of it, especially in a TT based sport. Just run your own race they way you want to and don't let that 11...
