Yeah I do wonder if Trek's sizing is a little dated. I rode a friend's 2018 Session XL I few months ago and it felt really small. Trek and Spesh seem reluctant to make a DH bike with modern numbers. By their current standards, they'd need to make in XXXL to fit me and not a giant at 6'2"

Reads more like Robot Bikes failed, has a shit load of inventory, and is branding it with the Atherton name. The proof is going to be in the pudding. If Gee can't put down results like he did at the end of last season, this entire concept has no hope.

All this talk that Mavic guys could go Enve... The parent company of both is the same. That doesn't necessarily mean the marketing budgets and the like is shared. Mavic could decide on who to sponsor on their own and likewise Enve. Plus both companies have differing cultures, etc. And talking about wheels, Mavic makes rims and wheelsets, while Enve only does rims. One is not a drop-in replacement for the other.

I'm the same with the Gwin and Intense rumour. I think Gwin is probably the best pure downhill racer the world has seen since Sam Hill, but the intense DH team has always been about taking on that outsider ethos. Look at how they have backed Palmer, Kovarik and in the newer school, Jack Moir with his obvious talent, shitty injuries and penchant for getting bitten by fish.. Taking on Gwin is moving the Intense DH team vibe from a punk rock and sketchy surfer vibe to decaff starbucks, workout videos and gluten free. Shits gonna end in tears, mark...
